"This is 2nd time we have been here and both times the place has been perfect. Great area for walks and 2 minutes walk to beach and 5minutes to Awhitu Winery. We hope to be back again some time soon. Thanks to the hosts as great communication, and ever thing as per the Bookabach site"

"Stunning bach. Perfect location right on the beach with steps down to the water. Quiet, spacious, suited the four is us with everything we needed. Would stay here again next time we are in auckland"

"The standard of accommodation was excellent as was the communication with the host. Location within a reasonable distance from the airport is a plus.....but a challenging location for shopping for supplies without access to a motor vehicle as is a long steep driveway to access the property. We were surprised that there was no free to air television coverage which was not disclosed at time of booking. Overall, we would book again for our needs, but issues highlighted will surprise and disappoint...

"A nice tidy little spot to rest our heads for a night. A dining table with a few chairs would be a great addition. Traffic noise was quite noticeable but being close to the motorway made it easy for the next leg of our journey."

"Close to the airport. Clean house. Great communication with the property managers. Bed in the master bedroom wasn’t as comfortable as it quite soft and had a dip in the middle but that’s a personal preference. Overall the stay was great! Highly recommend! "

"Was great accommodation and facilities. Would stay again, good location. We did try low-set accommodation due to age of youngest child, but none available at time. So just a couple of suggestions maybe a child rail for stairway and if broken or unuseable furniture are removed. Otgerwise great place. "

"Do not stay at this place!! Very misrepresented. Over priced. Smells like sewer or gas leak. Rodents everywhere. Tucked behind another house, hard to access. This place can't be legal for human occupation. Does not appear to be built to code. Beds are horrible, still recovering from severe back pain due to extremely lumpy beds. We had to buy air mattresses, pillows, & extra blankets. Three of our party of four were sick and had to leave a day earlier than our booking. My 74 year old sister could...

"Dampness issues- water ingress, saggy couch, springy mattress, messy outside, dirty and mouldy curtains. Unit was wrongly numbered according to the property description, which meant I left to look for another property. What unit number is it actually, as it has two numbers? I kept getting messages from The Stay... about what I had to do, turn off heaters, wash the dishes etc etc!!! And they had the cheek to take a $300 bond on it! No flat screen TV. Redecorated,but not renovated. No bedside...
