"It started badly. It took 4 attempts to get check in details via 3 different people. Then, when we arrived at the admittedly charming location, things unravelled further. the very first thing that hit us was a fusty smell of neglect as we opened the door. We do not think the description or the website is accurate. "This home was beautiful and comfortable and the lovely garden was such a joy. The stonework and tilework in the house and garden were gorgeous! The hosts had put firewood and starter by the fireplace in the living room and the grill outside. They were thoughtful to the last detail. The fire was such a treat for a nippy February evening. "The property is located a very quiet and peaceful location and it is indeed surrounded by olive trees. The only drawback we found was that in order to walk into Stoupa for meals in the evening you have to walk a stretch (about 100 metres) on the main road - we did not like this.
