Peaceful

We stayed for a week in January. It rained rather a lot more or less as expected at this time of year We came to relax between weeks with our Australian grandchildren firstly in Oz and then in Ubud and Seminyak. This villa is the perfect place for relaxation. It had everything we needed. I thought the garden, tended by an ever cheerful gardener was a work of art. Sitting by the pool at night listening to frogs, geckos and unidentified noises was delightful. We arrived by taxi after dark and the villa proved hard to find so I would suggest booking Randolf's offer of pick up, if you are coming from the airport, would be a good idea. Eating options within walking distance are limited. There are a couple of stalls which we didn't try. There is Irene's Homestay where we often had breakfast which was served by very friendly staff. A little further up the road is Citronelle which we would heartily recommend. Homemade bread and good food. If you come off season you need to book the day before. We had a good week, thank you

Perfectly wonderful alternative to the crowds.

We rented the villa in late November. Our travel plans were in flux until the last minute. Communication with Dani to arrange our transfer from the airport was easy and prompt. Dani even offered to cook diner and leave it in the refrigerator for us. We were so happy to have good food after our long trip. We arrived to Denpasar at 11:00pm, Ketut was waiting for us just outside the customs hall. We dozed as he chauffeured us 1 1/2 hour to the villa. The villa itself is exactly as depicted in the pictures. The bedrooms are all air conditioned and equipped with a big overhead fan. We were quite comfortable in the rooms at night. Mostly we used the pool and relaxed. There are almost no tourists on this beach and no vendors (other than food) at all. Dani cooked for us, delicious food, fresh fish and vegetables. Dani made the trip excellent. She was able to arrange travel, massage, food, whatever. Even birthday decorations for one of our party. We did hire Ketut for the airport transfers and also for 4 days of excursions. Twice to Ubud, once to white sands beach and once to beaches north. Ketut speaks very good English. He’s also great for information on island history, religion and industry. He always arrived ontime with his comfortable, clean car. Nengah is the man who takes care of the grounds and the pool. He is also a fisherman and has a boat on the beach. One day two of us tagged along with Nengah at sunrise. Incredible sunrise views on the vulcano. Loved it!

Paradise Found!

After traveling through other more populated areas of Bali (Seminyak, Ubud, and Lovina) we ended our stay at this lovely Villa in Jasri Beach. We were greeted by Dani's warm smile. She took us through the Villa to ensure we knew where to find everything and and walked us through the basics of the property. As others have reported, the pictures do not do the villa justice. The inside (where we spent little time, other than sleeping) was clean, cute, and more than enough space for my husband and myself. The outdoor area was simply spectacular. The dining area has a perfect view of Mount Agung which is one of the most picturesque views that will be forever burned in our memory. It looked different from morning until sunset. The gazebo seating area was a perfect place to enjoy reading and relaxing and when you got hot, simply roll into the pool. In the evening we climbed up the lookout in the front of the house for a view of the beach which is a two minute walk across the street. We went to bed to the sound of waves crashing (it really is that close that you hear the sound of the ocean while enjoying the villa). We had Dani cook a meal for us the first night of our stay so we could get an authentic taste of Balinese food. She was ready to ensure our tastes were met (what type of food did we want, what spice level, any special restrictions, etc). She ended up whipping up four uniques dishes that each had a flavor of their own and it was an amazing dinner again with Mount Agung in the background. The other nights we cooked for ourselves (made easy with the well equipped kitchen). On the way to the villa we stopped at a local grocery store for supplies, but there are also plenty of markets not far and some local Warungs right on beach. We walked down to the beach in the evenings which came alive with local families - happy kids playing in the water, families eating dinner on the beach. There were hardly any other tourists in this area and we felt we had a true sense of Bali just being among the locals. Ketut was the driver we were pointed to and he was an amazing tour guide for our daily adventures. He gave us lots of insight about the area and was happy to help us see some of the local sights, including Virgin Beach which will be among my top 5 beaches visited during my lifetime! Everything about our experience with this property was fantastic. Would recommend to anyone looking for the quieter side of Bali.

Paradise in Bali

Emplacement idéal pour nous à l'écart de la foule. La maison est hyper agréable, esprit zen, détente et relaxation....vue sur le mont Agung. Dani est une cuisinière au top et nous a régalé. Toujours et petits soins et d'une extrême gentillesse. Massages, visites locales avec guides, location de scooter ... Tout était parfait. Un seul regret, trop court pour tout voir!!

Wonderful billa with amazing staff!

Villa is beautiful, steps from the ocean. Best yet is Dani- who is very attentive, friendly and made absolutely incredible meals for us. She even picked up some local seasonings for me to take home! Ketut was a great driver, and massage in villa was very relaxing. would recommend 100%

This property is an oasis - beautiful, peaceful and well managed. There are laminated instructions ready for your arrival with local tours available to you if you want to go off site. The area is remote, but if you do not have a car or scooter, Ketut will drive you. The closest tourist area is Candidasa which is about 30 minutes away. (this includes bank for currency exchange) We hired Dani to cook breakfast and dinner for us - it was amazing. She is so sweet, cheerful and helpful. Overall, the experience was just what we needed and I hope to make it back here again.

The Stay of a Lifetime!!! You will fall in love with this house

I can't say enough positive things about our stay in Jasri. My family rented this house for a month to use as our basecamp for exploring the island. The house was PERFECT for our family of four - spotlessly clean with fabulous amenities. We couldn't have been more comfortable. My favorite aspects of the house were the view of Mount Agung and the lovely gardens /outdoor spaces of the property. My kids loved the pool; it was the perfect size for us. What made this our home and not just a house was the care and welcoming nature we received from the villa manager Dani and our driver/tour guide Ketut. These two wonderful humans made our experience more fun, carefree and meaningful than I could have imagined. Dani cooked for us several times a week - and we can tell you it's some of the best Balinese cooking on the island! She also babysat our kids and escorted us to a local ceremony in the village. We saw Ketut almost daily for our excursions around the island, and he was always prompt, skilled at navigating and in a jolly mood! The property's gardener Nengah also took us fishing on his boat and on a couple other boat excursions - we greatly enjoyed these trips! When you are considering where to holiday in Bali, I would highly recommend this property, and Jasri in general. Jasri is off the tourist trail but central to every attraction in east Bali. The local beach will give you a taste of the real Bali with locals, dogs and food stalls setting up shop every night to enjoy the sunset and frequent ceremonies held right on the shore. (prepare for trash on the beach as well - this is a reality in Bali). We frequently headed over to Virgin Beach, which is one of the best beaches on the island and only 10 minutes away. You will never feel crowded when you stay on this side of the island. It was lovely. We left a piece of our heart in Bali, and especially with the wonderful people we met in Jasri who made our trip so special. Thank you Dani, Ketut, Koming, Nengah and your families for making us feel so welcome! We treasure our memories from our time at this villa. Potential renters - do yourself a favor and stay here!

PERFECTION

I love this villa and the secluded location. I spent 3 weeks exploring Bali and went all over. Ketut the driver was a tour guide guru and helped me arranged temple tours, 4 SCUBA trips, an ATV excursion, white water rafting and swimming with dolphins at sunrise. Dani the chef is the BEST chef on Bali and every time I went to a different village or restaurant, it never met Dani’s standards. I went on the morning fishing trip and boat ride to the beach with Nengah. So amazing. The house is perfect. The private pool is something we made use of EVERY DAY. I will be returning but honestly only with Dani and Ketut. The villa is a villa. Nothing special. The linens / towels / beds / kitchen leave a lot to be desired in terms of comfort and upgrades. but the SECLUDED location and the villa staff are the selling points.

Amazing Place, Awesome Staff, Stunning Views, Best Food

From the moment we were picked up from the airport by the Villa Jasri Tiga staff we could not have been more impressed by our experience in this property. The Villa itself was simply stunning - absolutely clean and well equipped - we really enjoyed the espresso machine and pizza oven! What an incredible view of Mount Agung from the villa. And the gazebo with sea view was our favourite spot to enjoy our drinks. We loved the beautiful garden and the pool was perfect to cool down after a day exploring the area. The surf at Jasri Beach was amazing, and White Sand Beach (the next beach) was great for snorkelling. The staff, especially Dani whose cooking was to die for, were terrific and were always ready and eager to help with any request we had. As we wanted to attend a Balinese ceremony, Dani even arranged some traditional Balinese outfit for us and together with her and her family we went to a temple, where the ceremony took place. Such an unforgettable experience! We would have no hesitation in recommending Villa Jasri Tiga to anyone looking for quality accommodation and a relaxing holiday in East Bali.

Amazing !!!

Just WOW - The moment you enter the garden of Villa Jasri Tiga and see Mount Agung you are just speechless. The house is beautiful, the pool looks more than inviting and the view is just simply breathtaking. The service and hospitality of the staff are very welcoming and kind. One of the highlights: The traditional cooking of Dani for breakfast and dinner. The BEST Indonesian home cooking we ever had in Bali. Villa and facilities are very comfortable and luxurious. Thanks to the guestbook with lots of information and the fantastic driver Ketut and we were able to determine the right activities and visit the most beautiful spots (water palaces, waterfalls, rice fields, temples, snorkelling, white sand beach, chocolate factories, Amed, Ubud). On our boat trip in Jasri we saw many dolphins including a baby dolphin. Good surf spot at Jasri Beach too! Many times it was just nice to stay at „home“ and enjoy the tastefully decorated rooms, veranda, garden, swimming pool, amazing view and great service. For home entertainment: the pool, BBQ & pizza oven, books, board games, DVDs & WiFi. Entire property very clean and beds extremely comfy. We- including our children (3 and 10 years)- absolutely enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back next year.

Very beautiful and comfortable house. Everything as described.

We spent (5 people) one week in this house. Everything was perfect. Dani made perfect breakfast or dinner when we asked for. Ketut, the driver, showed us several nice places in the area. We can really recommend to stay in this villa. There is just one thing to know: Due to the rough sea we couldn't swim even the house is very close to the beach. Nevertheless it is very interesting, as we could see a lot of ceremonis very close to the beach. Top location.

Urlaub, wie man sich ihn erträumt

Nachdem wir, vier Erwachsene, zwei traumhafte Wochen in Raja Ampat verbracht hatten, waren wir von Bali (Start in Ubud) wegen dem extremen Touristenrummel enttäuscht. Zum Glück gab es auch noch ursprüngliche Gegenden und mit Jasri hatten wir in der letzten Ferienwoche einen Hauptgewinn . Das Haus ist groß genug für 6 Personen, der Garten mit Pool ist traumhaft, man hat viele Sitzmöglichkeiten, es ist ruhig, man kommt schnell an einen schönen Strand ... Am aller Besten ist die Hausfee Dani, die gerne, aber vor allem traumhaft lecker für einen kocht. Aber auch der vom Haus organisierte Fahrer Ketut konnte uns mit seinem ruhigen Fahrstil, den ausgesuchten Wegen, seinen Wandervorschlägen und seiner netten, sympathischen Art nur überzeugen. Man kann die Unterkunft wirklich nur wärmstens empfehlen. Danke !!!

Tolles Haus, tolle Lage!

Perfektes Haus, perfekter Aufenthalt

Wir waren mit 2 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern eine Woche (Juli 2017) in der Villa Jasri Tiga und es war ein Traum. Super Haus, super Garten, super Pool. Wir hatten den Kochservice von Dani und den Shuttle-/Taxi-Service von Ketut gebucht. Beide sind wirklich tolle Personen. Dani's Kochkünste sind unglaublich und Ketut ist ein ausgezeichneter, kenntnisreicher, freundlicher und pünktlicher Fahrer. Was soll ich noch schreiben ? Viel besser geht es nicht.

Magnifique !

Nous sommes restés 10 nuits dans cette magnifique villa, au calme, parfaitement équipée. Nos deux enfants (4 et 6 ans) ont apprécié le jardin et la piscine, ainsi que la proximité de la plage et de la petite boutique. La localisation est charmante, devant un champ de riz avec en toile de fond le volcan. Nous avons eu la chance de bénéficier des services de Dani, dame d'une grande gentillesse et aux talents de cuisinière incroyables ! Elle nous a aidé à organiser nos différentes excursions et nous la remercions pour sa présence bienveillante et positive. En bref, nous ne pouvons que recommander cette location. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir si nos chemins nous conduisent encore une fois à Bali.

Siamo un gruppo di 5 italiani adulti over 65. A villa Tiga abbiamo trovato : spazi interni comodi accoglienti ,spazi esterni fruibili per tutta la giornata in un giardino ben organizzato e ben tenuto, rilassante .La piscina è piccola ma ideale per un bagno rinfrescante (con doccia esterna) La altana fornisce una zona fresca giorno e sera Le camere da letto sono comode con aria condizionata e pale , i bagni puliti e funzionali La cucina è ben equipaggiata e ci ha permesso di cucinare regolarmente Dani ,la governante è stata disponibile e pronta a soddisfare rapidamente le nostre richieste . E' gentile e parla un discreto inglese. Non ci sono stati problemi di comunicazione IIl giardiniere ha pulito quotidianamente con discrezione, giardino e piscina. Non parla inglese ma è una persona gentile e sempre sorridente. Ketut , l'autista-guida, parla un ottimo inglese , è stato puntuale preciso , prezioso per organizzare i nostri tour Purtroppo non era disponibile nei primi giorni ma ci ha inviato un altro autista meno gradevole ( un pò invadente) Con il bemo di Madi abbiamo potuto girare nei dintorni:; per la spesa ad Amlapura che è a pochi chlometri c'è un supermercato ben fornito. La spiaggia di sabbia nera vicina allla casa è in effetti un pò deludente ma ha il regio di essere poco affollata. Con il bemo si può raggiungere a pochi chilomatrei, e a un prezzo molto ragionevole , la spiaggia bianca ( Virgin Beach) che è dotata di servizi. Villa tiga ci ha permesso di coniugare una vacanza riposante con escursioni interessanti e adatte a noi ( consiglio di Ketut) Ci torneremmo volentieri

A disappointment...

The house was as decribed, the pictures are realistic. It was a very beautiful decorated house and Dani was a very friendly woman However, we were a bit disappointed: - the pool was dirty - the house wasn't completely cleaned after the last visitors, we found many traces (hair, stuff, ...) - we travelled three weeks around Indonesia (in more than 10 houses) and only here we really had the feeling to be treated as 'paying tourists'. We were suggested a taxi (with the announcement that there was no negotiating possible! In Indonesia!!), we called some other taxis and got them much less expensive (sometimes 50%!). In all the other houses we had the feeling to be helped, not here. The goal has to be 'good for them and good for us' in a kind of compromis. We informed about cooking our meal but the cost of cooking is more than the cost of the ingredients! We never had that experience again in other houses. - By arrival you get WIFI 2GB free wifi but strangely after one night and moderate use (no streaming, no you tube, no movie, ...), free WIFI was finished and a new card had to be bought. We were quiet certain there was no 2GB on the prepaid card. We had an Indonesian card (also 2GB) on our smartphone, used him all day and after three weeks, he still wasn't empty! Our conclusion: very nicely decorated house in a quiet neighbourhood but services overrated! In the neighbourhoud is a good restaurant and a very good massagasalon.

Four Days In Paradise

This was our first experience of renting a private villa so it was not with some trepidation that we set out on this adventure; however in reality we had nothing to worry about. From the very first contact with the owner, Randolf, until our departure to the airport by locally pre booked taxi, everything went like a dream. The villa is in the most beautiful and perfect of locations,the view of Mount Agung from the veranda across the rice paddy is truly breathtaking. The housekeeper, Adi, was the perfect host,everything was maintained spotlessly clean and we opted to pay for breakfast each morning which was prepared wonderfully and the perfect start to the day.Adi is a little gem. We were a party of 5 adults, and to a man found every provision for total comfort and relaxation provided for; the villa is exceptionally spacious both internally and externally; the garden is beautiful and the and pool is just right for that relaxing dip. If you relish a stay in beautiful, tranquil and natural surroundings then this is the place for you; transportation is a key consideration, however; rather than hire motorcycles, we opted to hire a taxi daily to take us to Pasir Putih(white sand beach, a vision of paradise) and then into the local town on the return journey to pick up provisions or cash from the ATM.There are two drivers locally, one based at the nearby Irene Homestay who also lives in the village and Made whose details are in the guest book. This worked really well as we ate mouthwatering fresh fish on the beach at a warung recommended by Adi and then prepared our own food in the evening chilling out at the villa. One tip- Don't miss the spectacle of the sunrise over the sea or the fisherman returning to beach in the morning with their catch.You might even be tempted to buy and prepare your own fish supper We will definitely return to this oasis of paradise. Eine Oase der Erholung.....

Wir hatten uns fuer dieses ruhige Haus im Osten entschieden als Alternative zum stressigen Sueden, und ja, es war genau das Richtige! Das Haus ist einfach wunderbar, sehr sehr sauber (was wir bei den vielen Reisen in Asien wirklich nur seltenst erlebt haben), genau richtig eingerichtet mit all den Dinger des Alltages, und durch Adi, der Haus- Manager vor Ort, liebevoll begruesst worden. Der Pool reciht zum abkuehlen, der Garten wird taeglich gepflegt, und das Umfeld ist einfach goettlich. Quakende Froesche am Abend, tjirpende Insekten drumherum, da kommt echte Ruhe auf. Insgesamt war es genau die richtige Unterkunft, wo wir uns toll erholen konnten, richtig abschalten und das pure Bali in allen Facetten erlebt haben. Kulinarische Empfehlungen sind das etwas teurere Bali Asli, sehr authentisch und sehr lecker, aber auch Ibu Fatima mit ihrem Gado Gado auf dem Abendmarkt in Amlapura. Billig und saulecker, so wie wir es mochten. Wir danken Adi fuer seine Betreuung, Randolf fuer die perfekte Abwicklung vorab und versprechen, dass wir irgendwann wieder kommen werden. Dieses Haus ist einfach bezaubernd! Danke!

Prachtig, helemaal Bali

Na een wat uitgebreide email wisseling met de eigenaar, geland op Bali, afgehaald conform afspraak, en alles tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Onze vaste chauffeur, Pak Podol, heeft ons meerdere keren naar de mooiste plekjes gereden. En Adi, de gastheer, was om de 2 dagen aanwezig om de handdoeken en beddengoed te verschonen. Zoals de site de foto's weergeeft, zo is het echt. Op alle drie de slaapkamers airco, een GEWELDIG uitzicht (bij helder weer) op de berg, maar in ieder geval altijd over de rijstvelden, en nee, dat leidt niet direct tot muggen!! De locatie ligt inderdaad níet op/langs de toeristische overbevolkte gebieden, maar heerlijk rustig, vlakbij zee. Zowel Pak Podol als Adi maken je vakantie helemaal af. Geen moeite is ze teveel als het gaat om jouw vakantie zo goed mogelijk te laten verlopen. Wij, gezin met 2 kinderen (12 en 16 jr) hebben ons dan ook geen dag verveeld. Als je naar Bali wilt, en je hebt geen zin in het massa toerisme, dan is deze locatie (in combinatie met de gehuurde auto/chauffeur) het beste wat je je kunt wensen. Tolles Haus, traumhafter Garten

Danke für diesen schönen Urlaub. Eigentlich können wir uns nur unseren Vormietern anschließen und bestätigen, was geschrieben wurde. Von Anfang an, Buchung, Bestätigung und Infos klappte alles reibungslos und perfekt. Der Empfang im Haus von Adi war herzlich und er sorgte dafür, dass wir uns rundum wohlfühlten. Er ist die Seele des Hauses und erfüllte uns jeden noch so kleinen Wunsch! Vielen Dank! Das Haus ist sehr schön und lässt bis ins Detail keine Wünsche offen. Es ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Unser Highlight war jedoch der Garten, diese wundervolle Natur ringsherum, die Ruhe - nur natürliche Geräusche wie Meeresrauschen und Tierstimmen! Ein idealer Ort für Naturliebhaber und Menschen die nicht den Touristenströmen folgen, sondern lieber individuell reisen!
