"Excellente Hotel familiale "

"The hotel is very old. The photos on Expedia does not match what you’d expect in person. The front desk staff are incredibly rude and do not treat guests well. They act like they’re being bothered if you come up. In general this place must have been a great hotel 25 years ago but it’s not worth staying at. Save your money and go stay in a different city close to a Antalya . I tried calling Expedia twice to move me to a different location and a newer hotel. "

"Fantastic hotel ,I cannot fault it . The staff are friendly, efficient and very welcoming. The rooms are luxurious modern and clean. The food is extremely good plentiful and varied. The international restaurant and Sandals are of a very high standard. I have stayed in many hotels in Turkey and the Barut Hemera is the best . "

"We have stayed at this hotel before. In the main it was a good stay for the price. Very limited entertainment which was an issue for guests with children. In four days ice cream was only served once and entertainment in the evening only once. Food options were a little limited, but always possible to find something to eat. Staff seemed generally to be not very happy with a few exceptions. Saw staff drop cutlery on a number of occasions and just pick it off the floor and put it out for use....

"We have only a good experience in Villa Sonata. Hotel is located on the hill, so you can have great view to the city. Even that it's a city center it's quiet and a lot of plans and trees around the hotel. It's really beautiful. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff is very nice and polite. We have booked a standard room and they give us much more bigger room with a lot of space, it was really nice, thank you! Totally recommend :) "

"The hotel is located in one of the best spots in Alanya in my opinion, some 25 meters distance from the beach. Migros supermarket two blocks away. Staff and management specially Oscar were absolutely friendly and helpful even in cases that they did not have to be. I admit that the hotel is old, but comfortable, secure and clean with spectacular view of the beach and Mediterranean sea from the forth floor suite we spent our eleven memorable vacation days in.
