Walpouli Beach Resort
We rent 5 rooms, 1 one bedroom, 4 2 bedrooms. All rooms were beautiful, and decorated very beautifully, the beach view was great, and shopping right across the street was so convenient. Shave Ice Shop was so delicious! Also, a 5-star restaurant at the Sheraton Hotel was the best and right next door, we ate there twice. The pool with the water slides was a big hit with my 10 grandchildren, even my grown children loved it too. The river walk with the waterfalls and gorgeous landscaping was enjoyed by all 20 of our family group. Perfect for a huge family vacation!!

Terrific, once we cleaned up.
On arrival we found clumps of hair in the shower and bathroom sink and the shower drain was clogged with it. After pulling out the hair and plunging the drain to clear it, everything was fine. We loved the location of the property which made it easy to visit both the north and south shores of the island and the apartment had everything we needed. We did have one night with noisy partying neighbors, but otherwise were not impacted by other guests. Since our flight home was at night, we were happy to have the option to purchase an extra day to have a late checkout. We were then able to enjoy a full day of fun on our last day. Communication with property management (Candace) was great. We had no problems with door code, WiFi password, etc.

We have stayed our last two times to Hawaii at the Waipouli Beach Resort and plan on staying in the future there also. The location in relation to the island is ideal. The resort is outstanding with about everything a person could want to have.

Nice location
Condo was spacious with a nice kitchen and bathroom. The only problem was the old couch in the living room. It has seen better days and very uncomfortable. Overall it was a nice place.

Great vacation at Waipouli Beach
We enjoyed the property and unit a lot! The pool and hot tubs at the facility were wonderful and I got a great massage from Olivia at the spa. It was wonderful to have an upscale kitchen and it was nice, being older people, to be on the quiet, rather than pool, side of the resort. The convenience of having Safeway walking distant was immeasurable. The only minor issue we had was that the couch was “vintage era” and a bit saggy. Thanks for a great stay.

I really enjoyed our stay here. The property was great, the pool was amazing, and you were in the middle of both Poipu & Hanalei where we spent most of our beach days. Owners were quick to reply on our questions leading up to our trip, and very accommodating of any requests. We really enjoyed our stay and would go back without any hesitation.

Solid option at Waipolui Resort
We have stayed at this condo complex a number of times. It is important to note that there are not a ton of units that have ocean views that don't come with a pool view as well. I'm a stickler for short-term condo rentals, so here are my detailed comments: - Unit was clean (spotless). - Master bed was comfortable. On the softer side, which I prefer. Only niggle bedding wise is I would prefer either more or thicker pillows. - Unit was well stocked, both the kitchen and beach chairs, cooler, and boogie boards. Only item missing was umbrella. - Unit is very close to the pool, but quiet (not facing the pool). - Management company was responsive. We had no maintenance issues, but pre-trip they were great to work with. - Unit is on the second floor. You may hear some noise from the unit above, but very little. Overall the complex is very quiet (except the pool area of course).

The location is great if you want to be in kapaa town and have access to both North and South on the island. The condo was great, and the pool fantastic. We didn't try the restaurant in site since it had limited hours and there were plenty of other options nearby. The only downside was the traffic!

Love this resort!
Second time we've stayed at this location & love it. The pool area is relaxing and plenty of seating. We like this location and the overall property & will likely stay again next trip to Kauai. Be sure to check out the Coconut Marketplace down the road for easy access to groceries & a few restaurants & other shopping. Safeway conveniently is across the street from this resort but it is often very busy.
