Hawaii vacation
We were just here for a few days, but the location was fantastic. We were easily able to travel around the whole island. The view was amazing, and the room was great. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed the location of these condos which are centrally located on the island. Being within walking distance to food, shops and groceries is so convenient. Loved that there is beach access, my husband and I did swim in the ocean right here and had a great time. Right next door a restaurant right on the beach with live music was great.

Great overall!
This place was great for the price. Oceanview, close to pool, close to shops, restaurants, and coffee. Pool was nice. Room was clean but a little worn down with water damage in spots, which is pretty common with the humidity in Kauai. Check in was easy and hosts were reliable. No extra amenities from the resort were available (such as towel service, room cleaning, extra room supplies, etc.) because this is a privately owned condo. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

View to die for
We could have watched the ocean all day long, amazing view. Apartment pretty basic but everything we needed, except ice! The freezer section of the fridge didn’t work but that was not a huge issue.

Perfect location…excellent care when we needed it!
This property is absolutely in the best location ever. We could hear the ocean’s roar even with the glass doors closed. The view from the lanai, literally 30 seconds to the beach, 2 minutes to Coconut Marketplace…perfect! When we needed something from Amazon, Monica offered to have it delivered to her home, and she’d bring it to us. Can’t beat caring, considerate service like that. We’ll be back.

Islander on the Beach
Unit 224, Islander on the Beach is the best. We love the Ocean view and sleeping with our sliding glass door open all night listening to the Ocean. The location is great, walking distance to so much that you don't really need a car. The grounds are beautifully kept up, lots of greenery. The pool and hot tub by the Ocean and Tiki Bar is right there when you are ready to cool off with a MaiTai. We appreciated new linens and bedding. Thanks Julie.

Our little paradise
We had a wonderful time in this condo. We got to watch the sunrise every morning and listened as the ocean waves lulled us to sleep. This was a prime location, food and restaurants were easily accesible. We loved that we could walk to get coffee, our musubi fix from ABC, which we did visit everyday, or Johnny's for some wings. It was also in a middle area for going North to Princeville or heading West towards Waimea Canyon, about an hour either direction. There's also a cute beach cove nearby that's within walking distance, so you don't have to worry about finding parking at a busy beach. The grounds are gorgeous with tropical plants. It was always a treat to see what bloomed that day. Beautiful area and condo.

The tv in the unit quit working early in the morning. Called the local.contact and they brought and hooked up a new TV by the time I got back in the evening

Good location
Very basic studio, old furnitures and appliances. Limited supplies as stated on website. Balcony is good and great water/beach view. Upon arrival you need to pick up parking pass first, and not go straight to unit. Free parking at least. There is 2 sets of snorkel bags, but had not been cleaned from previous guests. Bugs under the sink, and blender had some inside. Coffee machine is very old and cracked and shower curtain was ripped and dirty

Everything was as described in the listing, decent place and met expectations.
Overall we had an enjoyable stay. Our unit was nice enough, the pool, location, and grounds were great. My only complaints are that the sheets and bedding were paper thin and wouldn't stay on the bed. The toilet wouldn't stop running, we had to lift the lever after each use... not a big deal. Also, as folks in other units would check out, they would leave trash bags out in front of the units and the cleaning staff wouldn't pick them up? So there were bags of trash just lying around outside our door the whole week even after I told management about it. Ah well... we were at the beach most the time anyway.

Islander on the Beach Unit 224
We love to stay at the Islander. We’ve stayed in different units here about 7-8 times now. The location is 5-star. However, We were disappointed that this unit was so dated. The dresser, table inside and chairs were so old and worn out. The outside table was so wobbly we constantly spilled drinks. The linens / bedspread were depressing. The floor was dirty when we arrived. The toaster, fridge, and microwave are oldish. The whole unit could use a major refresh. Last time we stayed in a Buckmaster unit - about 3 years ago - we raved about the unit and all the extra towels we got for a week long visit. This time it paled in comparison. No instructions provided on how to operate the TV and cable with 3 different remotes provided. Spent over an hour trying to finally figure it out. Appreciated the newer beach chairs, beach towels, and cooler.
