Amazing KC Vacation
Our stay at this location, located just minutes from the great food and drink in the Power and Light district was amazing. Everything you needed was within a few minutes walk. It looked just as the pictures. It was spacious and very modern. The beds were very comfortable and led to great sleeps. Communication with the host was very good, quick and accurate. The security at the building was also very friendly and kind. They loved to chat and give some tips for those new to the city! The only minor deduction from the review comes with the cleanliness. Overall, the apartment was very clean, but the floors were a little sticky and could have been given an additional cleaning. Overall, we are very likely to book this apartment again when we return and highly recommend to anyone looking for a spot to stay in KC!

This is my first time with VRBO. We enjoyed the stay. The place was just what we were wanting. We could walk or use the street care to get wherever we needed to go! Great little get away.

Spring Break
I went to KC for spring break with another teacher friend. We both felt the apartment was simply perfect for our needs. We are already looking at dates to go back. The street car access from the building is so very convenient. The gym in the building is spacious with modern equipment. Highly recommend!

Place was very nice and organized. Very nice views and perfect location. Check in process was kind of difficult, however the instructions sent by the property manager were very thorough. Follow the helpful hints and it will go just fine.

Perfect size for 3 adult friends staying together for a girls’ trip. Photos accurate. Pay attention to check in process that Host sends, as it can be confusing. Parking in the garage is rather expensive just fyi. Street parking around building is metered. Great location, felt very safe and bonus having the street car stop right outside the building.

Beautiful condo in a lousy neighborhood
Stunningly beautiful condo, conveniently close to a great grocery store. Needs more dishes, cookware, and utensils if you plan to prep your own meals. Because the private parking garage is under repair, I had to use the library parking garage across the street -- my car window was smashed on the second night as part of a 15-car robbery spree, all of us with out-of-state license plates. Consider carefully what car you leave overnights until the proper garage is finished with their upgrade.

The check-in instructions we received from the host were detailed, easy to follow and right on the money. I didn't receive the instructions until the day we arrived. It would have been nice to have a quick message or two leading up to check in day with some details about the onsite parking, things to do in the area etc. Getting to the building and into the unit was smooth. The condo is large with two large bedrooms, each with its own large bathroom. Kitchen and living room were big and very well appointed. Everything we needed for two couples to be comfortable. The bathrooms and kitchen were all well stocked with towels, paper products and he even had some coffee and filters for the coffee maker, salt, pepper, cooking oil etc. We would definitely rent from this host again. Very professional.

First off-this property has an amazing night time view. The ceilings are very high, so it makes the rental seem extremely spacious. Here are a few things we took note of: 1) you DON'T have to pay for parking in the garage...just ask the attendant for the gate code when you leave each day. We didn't know this until the end of our third day...after paying parking fees for 2 cars, going in and out of the garage (yikes). 2) the walk is shower is THE ONE TO USE!!! The shower in the spare bathroom feels like a hanging solar camping shower...the kind where you fill the bag, hang from a tree, and turn the spout. This is not fault of the unit. It is simply building engineering. The main batgroom is closer to rhe center of the building, and closer to the main plumbing, thus greater water pressure. 3)This place less than a 10 min walk from EVERYTHING in the Light & Power District. 8min to convention center, 7min to sports complex, 6min to Insomniac Cookies. It has a fairly large CVS across the street, and an small upscal food market 1/2 block away. 4)So many dinning options all within minutes of the rental. We found a delicious ramen shop 5 minutes away (Mama Ramen). If you are looking for more of a nightlife scence, this rental is well located to walk to and from plenty of bars, saving you from having to Uber/Lyft. However, if you do need to rideshare, there is a dedicated pickup/dropoff area in front of the building.

Hip and cool downtown rental
Overall - the rental was great. We were in Kansas City on business. The hotels were pricey that week for whatever reason and me and a colleague decided to give a VRBO a shot. This place was great because it had 2 bedrooms and baths, each was located on opposite sides of the condo so we had some privacy. It has a modern, minimalist feel but was cozy. The check in process is a little tricky (we felt let we were doing an escape room) but the property management did provide detailed instructions... you just have to make sure to follow them. We got in ok. If you're looking for a downtown place, I'd recommend staying here.
