The space
You'll be staying on the first two floors of a lovingly restored (2018) historic brick building. 3400 square feet, with 4 small porches and 2 huge decks overlooking the Crossroads District and West Side.
A ridiculous amount of indoor and outdoor space in the heart of downtown. Ideal for wedding groups, business trips, teams, family vacations, or friends traveling together. If you need to accommodate more than 8 people, let me know.
A 4-car private drive and loads of free street parking out front. The perfect launch pad for your downtown adventures.
Do expect normal city noise and mildly creaky floors. This is a 100-year-old urban home, after all. No parties, please. You've got plenty of entertainment options just blocks away.
An embarrassment of indoor and outdoor space in the heart of downtown Kansas City. Loads of free street parking out front and a big private drive around back.
Guest access
You'll have access to all areas of the two story loft via smart locks.
We may not meet face to face, but I respond to texts and I'm happy to offer tips and recommendations on the local arts and food scene, especially all things related to coffee, craft cocktails and beer. As a 24-time, back-to-back Superhost, your happiness is my priority.
Location
Picture yourself in the heart of downtown Kansas City, exploring an urban renaissance. Microbreweries, bistros, bbq, cocktails, coffee...and that's just the food. Art, music, wedding spaces, museums. It's all here, all walkable. Or bikable or scooterable, if you prefer.
If you're looking for a home base for your downtown Kansas City adventure, this is it.

Getting Around
Lots of your destinations will be within walking distance if you're working or playing downtown. Light rail runs a couple blocks away, and Bike Share KC rentals and scooters are available, as well as a comprehensive bus system. Uber is also popular around here.
You'll have a private driveway and free street parking at our location, a quiet residential boulevard just around the corner from all the action.
Other things to note
This is a neighborhood with noise expectations, not a spot for parties or events. No shouting, fighting, honking horns, loud music, etc. Common sense stuff.
I supply bedding, towels, equipped kitchens, and all basic amenities as well as high speed internet, and smart tvs for you to log on to Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube Tv, etc. (no traditional cable). If you have questions about specific items, feel free ask.
The first floor has two fully functional wood stoves. If you'd like to use them, make sure to read the instructions in the House Manual. The nearby Home Depot on Linwood usually has firewood.
