"We loved the stay. It is a hanok, which means we slept on a futon, but I would not want it any different. The staff let us check in early and stored our luggage until it was time to leave. We received a letter translated to English on our arrival as they did not speak a lot of English. Their understanding of English was better than my understanding of Korean. Prior to our arrival, they also sent us detailed instructions for us to give the taxi driver. I hope to go back some day."

"This was a different kind of stay for us. Room is tiny and you sleep on a heated floor. My husband has a bad back so I asked for padding. The manager not only gave me padding but sat with us to explain the rules of the hotel and went over a map of the village and where to go sightseeing, food and drinks. "This home was so charming, clean, and perfectly located for walking around town. I loved that we were on a quaint alley away from the nightlife but close to all the sites. And the owners spent a long while helping us pick where to go. Really wonderful people. Wish they were my grandparents lol so I could visit their cute home. My only regret is only staying one night."

You also get discounts and benefits from a Hanbok rental shop that they recommend going to. The beds are traditional futons, so might not be ideal for some people. "My stay was excellent. I went to visit my son who is stationed at Kunsan air base. It's walking distance to gate 3. Only problem is gate 3 closes at 1800. But the owners of the property were very nice and helpful. Breakfast and laundry is included with your stay. Amazing "
