"My wife and I stayed for 2 nights. We can’t recommend this home too much. It certainly felt like we were at home. The room was so clean, bed was comfortable and bathroom spotless. Our room was well appointed, entered via its own garden. We had special views across the whole valley. "The location is convenient and there are frequent buses to the nearby bus stop, so transportation is stress-free. The owner and staff speak English well and are very kind. "The hotel is perfectly placed to walk to the temple, lake and market. A 20 min walk of brief tuk tuk ride from the station. Reasonably comfortable bed with a private en-suite. The only issue was that one wall of the room is a floor to ceiling window that looks onto the hallway and lets in light from the hall until it is switched off around 11pm. So maybe ask which rooms might be best if you prefer the dark! Air con very good and warm shower. The food is delicious, both breakfast and dinner....

"We had the most wonderful stay at the Coffee Bungalow. The building, which has been beautifully restored and appointed, sits in arguably the best location above Kandy and the warm and elegant hospitality was memorable. We cannot recommend more highly! I was shocked to see a negative review in my name which most definitely did not come from me. Beware of hacks. "

"The property location is on top of the mountain away from everything. The view from your room is spectacular and breathtaking. The property it self needs to be updated, shower seals needed to be re-cocked as it leaked all over the bedroom. Bath and Hand Towels are all stained and felt that it was not cleaned properly. Can’t comment on the facilities as we where out early and back late during our 2 nights stay with them. "
