"98 Acres is a stunning resort. Incredible views from everywhere. Huge rooms with big terraces overlooking the mountains and tea plantation, lovely pool, great breakfast and very attentive staff. We had massages in the spa which was lovely and very peaceful. It's very easy to get a tuktuk into Ella, which is a really lovely place with loads to do. Definitely recommend the zip line and walk up to Little Adam's Peak. We also visited the Ravana Pool Club for a drink after the zip line which was also lovely. "

"We had an excellent stay in that property (3nights March 2025) It located on the hill so the views from the balcony are spectacular. Still just a few steps from the center of town. Very good breakfast with lots of options. Exceptional stuff, especially the manager who was very informative, helpful and kind. The only down was the bathroom which I'd say needed some renovations and the noise coming from the construction going on at the front of the hotel but I understand at some point they have to do it. I would definitely recommend this hotel!"

"The view from our room was spectacular of the waterfall. Sat out on balcony each morning and evening enjoying the view. The Hillcrest is walking distance to town but is on a very steep hill They have Tuk Tuk available for rides into town. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was provided. "

"This hotel was a little slice of paradise! I’m not one for spending too much time on the hotel grounds but this hotel was an experience in itself. One of the best views of Ella - right between Ella Rock and Little Adam’s Peak. One of the best sunrise views. The garden is beautiful as well. They offer yoga daily in the garden which was truly a highlight of our time in Ella. Staff was very friendly and accommodating helping us book drivers and activities. It was truly a treat staying here! "
