"This was an amazing stay. Quiet and peaceful. View was somewhat obscured by the fog during the winter but you can still see the valley below and rice terraces when the fog lifts a little. Water pressure is good in the bathroom and there is hot water. To keep warm in the room, there is a small portable heater (a bit noisy so didn’t use it when sleeping) and when sleeping, just the electric blanket is enough to keep warm and have a comfortable night’s sleep. "We loved our stay at Sapa Centre Hotel. We had the warmest welcome from the staff at reception. We've stayed at numerous hotels throughout Vietnam during our travels and the staff here were by far the friendliest, especially Selena who was really helpful and lovely throughout our stay. "The owners could not have been more responsive to every need. If you visit Sa Pa / Fansi Pan, you must stay at the Clay House. I have rarely relaxed to this extent, and the food / drinks were outstanding. The only negative comment about the Clay House, is that we had to leave."

"The property was very nice and one of the best in Sapa. The room had all the amenities and the balcony was huge. The room was very spacious and the bathtub was a highlight. All the best shopping and eating places were nearby. However, the staff was not very friendly and behaved rudely on many instances. Also, the breakfast had very few vegetarian options, please keep that in mind."

"The property itself is well located in a quiet strip, and close enough to the center. The manager was nice and offered to upgrade my room for extra 400vnd but I refused due to the weather and there was no view anyway. The room I got was big and comfortable, and clean. The aircon didn’t work but I don’t need it. There were broken pots outside of my room and unfortunately, the landslide on the front of the property scared me so I couldn’t sleep. The pool was also closed due to the landslide....

"For our first visit to Sapa, we are so happy we stayed at the Bamboo Hotel! It is conveniently located for both trekking and the amenities of Sapa. The rooms were clean, the food was great and the onsite spa was a delight. By far, the best part though was the staff. They were all so wonderful but in particular, Julie at the front desk went above and beyond for us every chance she had. She even went as far as hand delivering a birthday cake (with a song!).
