"Staff were very welcoming and friendly. The price was reasonable and location was great. The building and room was nice although there were a few things that could have been better. The mini fridge was not working properly and was not cold, the carpet in the hallway was really worn out and unfortunately on our last day there was a cockroach climbing on the wall of the washroom."

"Generally ok, staff were hospitable and helpful. But, the manager Mrs Rinie was unfriendly as she was harassing my sister who stayed in another room about the extended hour that we requested and threatening her. Totally unacceptable hospitality to hold such a position! The 2 Deluxe Double rooms that I booked didn’t have any windows. The Aircon didn’t work so it was fixed in situ when I was in the room. "A definite must stay hotel. What a mansion and staff! Every thing was possible and did happen, the staff were efficient, very friendly and capable. The breakfast menu and selection was vast with Kumar being the best lemon daiquiri maker. The food and service was excellent. The beds and pillows, oh so dreamy. Honestly, every single thing about this mansion was 5 star. There is a traditional Guznan player and a jazz band in the more contemporary part of the hotel, both very good. The mansion has an amazing history and looks magnificent. The bathroom products are super and plentiful. They offer a thorough and informative tour of the mansion. You must stay here! "

"This hotel is a nice little, I believe 20-room clean hotel with large clean rooms and an amazing friendly staff. In particular, Liza is exceptionally helpful and friendly and if you wish, she can arrange for day tours. Excellent hotel. No complaints whatsoever."
