The resort has gone through a full refurbishment in the last couple of years, so we were delighted to see that most of the negative feedback has been listened too and actioned. "As a family with children aged 10 and 12, we absolutely loved this resort. The pool was invaluable to be able to have time for ourselves to relax as well as the children. Buffet was great and the manager was amazing. Our children loved watching the baby reef sharks swimming next to the jetty out the front of the resort. Would highly recommend to both couples, individuals or families as they offer something for everyone. "

"Arrived well before official checkin time. Room was ready. Although they tried to upsell their newer renovated rooms which were empty. They were nice but it wasn’t a free upgrade. Their initial remark was my booked room requires stairs climbing which I did not find an issue to begin with. The basic room was pretty much the same as the one I stayed in many years ago. Clean but ancient. There were kettle and fridge. Wifi never seemed to work but I never inquired further as I have my mobile data....

"This is the perfect place to stay on the island if you don’t want to pay £300 a night or stay in a hostel/cheap chalet. We were in one of the blocks. Don’t let this put you off! The rooms are beautiful, clean and have everything you need. We booked 3 nights and ended up extending our stay by 3 more…we could have happily stayed even longer. Coral bay is great, a few bars and places to eat, shops, movie nights and cocktails and wine at Ombak and of course access to dive/snorkel and water...
