"Our room was in front of linens storage. Probably if the staffs leave the door open, an alarm rings. One night the alarm was kept going hours. It was annoying. And the swimming pool is small. Except for these, the stay at Hompton was quite amusing. Staffs are really friendly. Great Viva Foodcourt is right in front"

"The layout of the resort is beautiful and the staff are very friendly and accommodating.The view from myroom was stunning The food at the restaurant is great but a very limited selection. Without a car it is a bit difficult to get around and explore. Also the room set up was a little awkward with no bed lamps only bright overhead lights controlled by a switch at the door across the room. The bed was ok but the pillows were terrible. "Was very quiet when we stayed. Pool is nice. Breakfast was the same for 2 days then the it was changed on the 3rd day we only stayed z3 days. There is an egg station and soup station. Western and Malaysian is served. Bed was a little hard to my liking. Room was big. Best thing was the shower had hot water and lots of pressure. No smoking at the pool is a bonus. "This is a great place for a family to stay for a family holiday (we stayed for 3 weeks). Modern, clean and safe. Each room has own on-suite bathroom. They clean twice a week, which is great! There is a convenience shop at the bottom of the hotel, a lovely pool, a beach with beach sports (company called Seafarers - great guys and I would recommend them any day). Overall, the comfort of the hotel apartments helped make this one of our best family holidays ever. I would go back if I ever come back...

"A great hotel! Friendly and welcoming staff, excellent facilities including rooftop pool and gym. Breakfast was very varied and plenty of it! It was great location for us just 4 minutes from the beach and some decent walks along the sea. Grab cabs were frequent and regular for the trips into George Town old district and very reasonable! I would stay there again and recommend it!"

"For Expedia review of the Rainbow Paradise hotel: The rainbow paradise hotel is a beach front property which is a major plus. However, we face two major disappointments! 1.
