"A beautiful restored shophouse. Very welcoming staff and very clean common areas. The rooms can get a bit warm in the afternoon as part of the roof is covered in zinc and conducts heat directly into the room. Bed is located in the attic which can be a slight inconvenience but it adds to the overall charm of the place. Toilets are small and poky but still good enough for me. For the price, I would still recommend this place for those seeking something out of the ordinary. "

"Located within Georgetown, it is within walking distance to many of the attractions in Georgetown. The food selection and availability is also incredible. What is most attractive though about this property is that is retains so much of the original vibes of a peranakan shophouse. The blend of historical furnishing and modern amenities makes for a nostalgic and yet comfortable stay. The only setback is its location along a narrow road. This means getting on and alighting from transport is going...

"Whats not to like. Its a delightful and charming gem of a place. The virtues of the 9th century vintage shophouse design are exploited to the full, in conjunction with al modern amenities. JL is a genial and affable host. I do expect to return and do not hesitate to recommend this venue to customers in the future. "

"Very conducive and pretty much feels like a home. Strategic place for you to travel around town with walking distance. If you have no idea where to go, boss is friendly and gives good recommendations."

"This heritage mansion is a true delight to stay for those who appreciate culture and history. There is so much details of a gone by era to see and enjoy by staying at the mansion. Good but not excellent

"It's one of the newest hotels in Georgetown so we decided to give this a try. Pros: Attentive service staff Cons: It's quite an open concept with a small lobby Toilet in the West Wing was choked (probably due to public access) There were no clear instructions on pool access and we had to come down to the lobby to access to the West Wing No evening turn-down service"

Comfortable and good location

"Really comfortable hotel. It’s big on eco friendly. We had a view of the sea which was really nice. The location is also great. It’s close to the market, restaurants and old part of Georgetown (and pubs if you are keen to venture out at night) so everything is close by. The Trishaw station is right next to hotel so it was easy if you are not up for walking or Grab. Would definitely stay there again"
