"We really loved Slovenia as a place to visit. Very easy to get around, friendly people who all speak great English. Food and drink reasonably priced compared to Croatia/Italy. "As part of a European road trip, we booked these apartments for a two night stay but now wish we had booked to stay for longer. The apartments are very modern, with nice decor and have everything that you need, Outside there is a large bbq area and fire pit. The location is beautiful, it’s by the river with views over the mountains. The owner Viktor and his family are very nice people and make you feel most welcome. "

"We drove down to Ljubljana from the UK in August 2024 while enroute to Croatia and opted to stay here for 2 days as it had free parking, wasn't far from the city centre and other attractions. Parking onsite can get competitive at times, but we would eventually find a space. " I loved everything about this glamping experience. The outdoor hot tub was a special joy to use, especially in such a nice and quiet area. It was also a great place to stay with pets. Our ‘house’ was very clean and warm, making it extra comfortable. Breakfast was diverse and more than enough. I also loved that they sold organic/bio beer at the reception. I would definitely recommend staying here!"

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Grof. The accommodations were great. The attached cafe and restaurant had excellent food and a wonderful homey ambience. The breakfast was amazing. I liked it so much I extended my stay to relax and refresh before traveling home. I had to leave before breakfast on my day of check-out and they prepared a wonderful gourmet to-go meal for me. I’d totally recommend anyone to stay here!"

"Checked in a little earlier and the lady at the desk was extremely helpful and flexible. Breakfast ends at around noon and check out time can be extended if needed. Breakfast was amazing and extra points for them being so flexible. The room was clean, comfortable and big! Would come back again."

"A fun accommodation for our multi-generational family. Denis at Reception was especially helpful and friendly. A little away from the centre of town but manageable by bus once you understand the network. Our rate did not include breakfast and the one time we had breakfast at the hotel it was extremely expensive and service and quality was poor. This, however, did not reflect our general experience overall."

Beautiful place

"The hotel was very clean and tidy. The staff is friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend you to stay here and travel around. Go to other small cities and go hiking, if you like it. The city center is very chaming. The hostel has a beautiful mountain view and is quite cozy. Amazing place!"
