"A very unique property that does not fit any criteria neatly. Our room has a separate dining room and basic kitchen. Yes the property is old but it’s not tired. It is family run with great pride. And what a location right under the rocks of Meteora and within walking distance of three of the monasteries for those who are ready for the steps. You do need nerves of steel to drive up the narrow streets to get to the hotel!"

"We had an exceptional experience starting from the first minute we stepped into the lobby. We were greeted by a receptionist, a very kind lady who provided us with local area maps. The room was cute and cozy. It was updated and looking modern. The next morning we had a good breakfast. The receptionist helped to plan an efficient Meteora tour. The day was simply magnificent. The hotel also provided a recommendation for a nearby tavern, it was delicious."

"Stylish hotel in the best part of town actually within the castle walls. Well equipped, clean, great bathroom and bed. Good breakfast. We loved it! One tip if you are like us and not always confident where tight European lane ways, plan your car parking ahead of time."

"Our room had no balcony, even though in the pictures it seems this room category should have had a balcony. However, it didn’t bother us too much, since we only booked for two nights. The room was clean, well kept and bathroom recently refurbished. The personnel was very nice and promptly helped us with all of our queries. If we will ever travel again to Ioannina we will definitely re-book again at this hotel. "

"Our stay at Mirabilis Boutique Hotel was relaxing. The hotel was new, beautifully decorated, super clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet was wonderful, they had a menu to order off of as well with nice options. From the grounds and some of the other rooms there was a view of the monasteries. The hotel is a bit out of the main town area. The location feels a bit different as your surrounded by farms. "Inexpensive hotel right in the heart of Ioannina. The PLUS is they have their own private parking lot— worth the $ right there. Good signage directing you as well. Lady at front desk was so friendly and helpful. Elevator/ lift is very small, so could be a problem if there were lots of people waiting. Nice lighting in room. Windows had a metal pull-down shade as well as curtains— nice blackout for those that like that."
