"The property is located right by a pretty, unspoilt beach with wonderful sea views from the first floor balcony off the master bedroom. The coconut trees provide plenty of shade from the hot sun and the pool is large and very clean. The gym and massage room are a great addition. The team of 4 staff keep the house and garden spotless and Pradeep and Tharaka were a great help to us while we were there. Renu provided tasty meals as required. "We booked via Expedia to stay for 3 nights in January 2022, however the property had been double booked and we were left stranded in the middle of nowhere, with two children, in the rain and with darkness falling. Not good at all. Seriously displeased. How the double-booking happened, I do not know. I had all supporting confirmation paperwork printed out and by email. However, what I do know is that the manager simply blamed expedia and took no responsibility for the issue. The people already...

The onsite staff are amazing and very welcoming and helpful (definitely book a dinner made by Dinesh!). The breakfast is also delicious. Good restaurants in the area (including one right across the street). Property is lovely and backs directly on to the beach. "

Four night stay in a wonderful villa

"Perfect place for a relaxing stay. Each bedroom is spacious, lots of storage and has an ensuite. Pool is great. The onsite staff are amazing and very welcoming and helpful (definitely book a dinner made by Dinesh!). The breakfast is also delicious. Good restaurants in the area (including one right across the street). Property is lovely and backs directly on to the beach. "

Deep clean required as a matter of urgency

"The room requires a deep clean. Dirty floor mats, water timescale marks all around the shower and window. Privacy blind had mould growing on it. Sink requires timescale and bleach as plug area smelt unpleasant. Air conditioning required some overdue maintenance or replacement as it was so loud even with the terrace doors closed. Very loud music could be easily heard in the room until 5am. Breakfast area had a fly problem and need to be addressed urgently as unhygienic. "

"Great property right on the beach , in comparison the prices in the hotel / restaurant are higher ( which is to be expected) . Staff was lovely , the hotel could do with some small updates / upgrades. Location is very good, under 10 mins to walk into town. Great place if you are looking for something that not in overcrowded part of Sri Lanka "
