"Lovely old bach and we enjoyed our stay thank-you. No dishwasher as is expected in a bach but we did have to wash our glasses and some of the cutlery and plates prior to use as they were greasy. Minor problem. Lovely sunny spot and great access to the beach, shop, playground, tennis and golf course."

"The Homestead was fabulous for our group of 10 adults. Beds, Facilities, Environment was outstanding. Access to the sea and the friendly very welcoming hosts was very special. A wonderful part of the Wairarapa. With many thanks to Glenburn Station"

"Its a lovely property, right next door to the hosts, who are very friendly and helpful. Master bed is a firm floor bed, which you go through to kids room. Fold out in lounge, lounge is a large room. Kids loved the glass floor in their room! We were 3 adults and 2 kids, probably more suited to 2 adults and 2 kids. We had a lovely peaceful stay. Great to hear the ruru at night :)"

"A really cute place and the area around is lovely! There is only one convenient store, so would be good to give people a heads up to bring extra food. But so cool to see people riding around on quad bikes and family orientated area. "

Longbush Estate

"This place would make a fantastic wedding venue. Plenty of garden photo ops. Great gardens. On the flip side, it appears as if no-one had been here for a while. Hanging cob-webs, mould in the water filters, lawn needed mowing, outdoor furniture was strewn across the lawn, outdoor table was mouldy, oven needed a clean, etc. The new carpet meant a few doors wouldn't open so wardrobes were unavailable."
