The kitchen is equipped for all of your cooking needs, including a gas range/oven, fridge, and microwave. An eat-in table Through the sliding doors, you'll find access to the screened-in lanai - a lovely spot to bring your morning coffee, read the newspaper in the island breeze, or play cards after sunset with a cocktail in hand.

Kona Shores offers breathtaking views from the swimming pool and a private ocean gate to our renowned "One Step," a naturally occurring ocean access point for snorkelers and scuba divers. You'll be a short walk from the beach and across the street from bike rentals, perfect for visits to Kona Village. The Kona trolley is also available to guests.

Great location and condo!
We loved the location and the condo had all the amenities you could need. The location was much better than advertised because parking in downtown Kona was crazy, so being able to walk into town is a huge bonus. We didn't spend much time at the pool, but the view is amazing as it is right on the water. The one caveat to the booking is that it is booked through a third party (Vacasa) and they were very hard to get ahold of via VRBO, which was the only contact option for messaging. They seemed to have a different cancelation policy than what was advertised on VRBO was well, which was a bit frustrating and definitely a different experience than booking through a standard VRBO listing. Otherwise, would definitely recommend staying here!

Super loud parking lot and road noises, wrong combination for key box, had to call property manager, no key in box, luckily they had maintenance key box combo. No coffee, no bars of soap, no salt shaker ( bare bones) and a squeaky bed frame. Disappointing for cost a night. Studio came to three times more than listed fee- be wary of ‘add on fees’. On the mainland, it would compare to a cheap hotel.

Other than access the place late at night 3 am as code didn’t work after many tries. Contact individual by phone but the codes she gave me still didn’t work. Only after some nice lady gave me the code to the lockbox that said maintenance did we find a key to access condo. Other than that a great stay in a well equipped condo!! Wonderful place to stay

Although we didn't have an ocean view, we had plenty of space in this studio apartment. The pool deck was outstanding and the ocean views there were amazing.
