Comfortable but no aloha
Mostly very clean, except sliding glass doors. Would have cleaned myself but no cleaning materials on site. Wanted to love this place. We have stayed in other units but were delighted to find a first floor unit. The good: well equipped, comfortable, plenty of towels, and beach stuff. Nice patio area. The bad: communication was awful. Don't know if the problem is with the owner or RedAwning. Most units are welcoming (flowers, complementary chocolates, coffee, and welcoming reminders about check out expectations). The only signs in this unit (also found in the confirmation letter) were filled with threats of extra charges for minor infractions. Be warned that you can only leave 'morning towels' for housekeeping. If you even leave beach towels you will be charged extra. Took forever to get a confirmation and check in information. We only knew about logistics; trash bin location, washers, pool hours, etc., because we had stayed at the resort before. Wrong WiFi information and zero useful information on confirmation or in the unit, except endless warnings Constant reminders about checkout time. It is a great resort and this has the potential to be a great unit. It is just the most 'unwelcoming' place we have ever stayed.
