The property’s location and views were amazing! However The spa we couldn’t get the jets to come out very powerful. There’s a few things that need updating but the beds were very comfortable! They had pretty much everything we needed! They definitely have old snorkeling equipment so bring your own! Overall we had a very comfortable time here!

We’ve been to Hawaii so many times, but it’s our second time on the Big Island, I highly recommend this place. Great location, it’s right on the street to get out, but no issues. Cleanliness is my biggest issue with VRBO, this home is so nice and clean and I think it’s the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in, I would definitely come back. Awesome!!

Awesome location, yards from the ocean. The host was very accommodating both pre-visit and during visit. Minor issues he might address… outdoor BBQ unusable due to rust damage, living area furnishings need updating, including severely ripped ottoman… overall, very pleasant 2 1/2 week stay.

Fantastic location!
This house was perfect for our family of 4. The view is great, location is convenient to anything in the Kona area and the privacy of a single home is welcome! Yes it's a bit pricier than a condo next door but the extra cost was well worth it for us!

Perfect Vacation House
Beautiful view with majestic sunsets! House has everything we needed to cook and more. Comfortable beds with extra linens and towels. There were beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear and more! House was close to everything...restaurants, shops, beaches, and farmers markets. Peter responded when we needed anything.. wonderful host. We would definitely stay here again.

The View!!
Wonderful house in the best location. It was great sitting on the deck in the morning watching the waves crashing 10 feet away from me. Watched breaching whales while sipping coffee. Sitting in the hot tub on the deck under the stars and listening to the ocean was perfect. The house was well stocked and everything worked. Beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

A Wonderful Time

Paradise!
Incredible view from sun up to sunset We saw turtles, whales and dolphins in one day out front. The small public access next to the house was also nice to see the community as many locals go to the small beach and watch the sunset there. Hidden Gem
Spent the last 10 days soaking up the sound of the ocean waves and the gentle breeze from the lanai of this wonderful property and we can’t wait to go back. The home is well appointed and clean! The kitchen appliances appear to be new. Although it was hot and humid during our stay, the A/C and ceiling fans made sleeping comfortably a breeze. And those sunset views are too pretty to put into words!!! Host is easy to work with and very responsive. We will be back!

Rare Find
Truly a hidden gem! This place checks all the boxes we are looking for when we travel: location, amenities, cleanliness, and comfort. Hands down the best seaside view Kona has to offer! Nothing better than sitting on the large lanai soaking in the sound of the waves and beauty of the vivid blue ocean ….except the picture postcard perfect sunsets! We spent the vast majority of our stay on the lanai soaking in the sights sounds and smells of the ocean. The location is a short 5 minutes from downtown Kona. Close enough to enjoy some touristy things but far enough away to not let the hustle and bustle deprive us of the relaxation we were looking for. The kitchen is well appointed. The bedrooms are well sized with comfortable king sized beds. Both bedrooms also have usable closet space. Washer, drier, and A/C brought it all together as the perfect place for us to kickback and relax. Host is very helpful and super responsive. Can’t wait to return!

Peter was a very gracious host. Responded quickly when contacted. Offered suggestions for places to go. House was well stocked with everything you would need, all you need to purchase is the food that you are going to eat. Amazing view!!! House was very clean, beds are super soft, and updated kitchen. Thanks Peter for making your home available. great set up, great view and very private. . Can't get any closer to the water. Had significantly more amenities than most BnB's I have stayed at. Thought we were going to have to go back to the store until we opened the cupboards. We had a laugh at you having a glass for every type of cocktail and drink imaginable. Thanks!

Beautiful location with all the comforts of home
We stayed in your beautiful house on the beach with our family of four. Views were spectacular, location was perfect. So private, wrap around lanai, lounge chairs in the lawn, its own access to the beach. It was walking distance to Ali’i gardens market place. A very short drive to Kona shopping area. The house had all the comforts and amenities that we needed. Everything in the house was organized and clearly labeled especially in the well equipped kitchen. We feel so thankful to have spent a few days there enjoying the ocean breezes, great views, beautiful sunsets. Peter was very responsive to all our questions and we had the most memorable experience and hoping to stay there again. Thanks

Living for this Lanai!!
What a wonderful home, right on the beautiful Pacific Ocean! We thoroughly enjoyed spending time on the lanai, watching the humpback whales frolic right in front of us, and soaking in the hot tub. But the Sunsets…the Sunsets were SPECTACULAR, every single day. The home is close enough to the shopping and restaurants (7 min drive) but still gave us the privacy and Hawaii experience we were craving. We fully took advantage of the very well stocked kitchen. Everything you can possibly need to cook up some delicious meals. There is a great farmers market a few blocks up the street for fresh produce & coffee. Also a grocery store & fish market is a 10 min drive away. The decor is in need of some updating/cleaning, but since we spent the majority of our time outside, that was easily overlooked. Peter was an outstanding host and communicator. We will definitely be back!!

Kona house
The house was clean and well stocked. The 2 bedrooms and 2 baths suited our family well. The only outage I had was the fact that I have difficulty standing so i needed a stool or plastic chair for the shower; like I use at home. I got one at Walmart. There are 2 cats that frequently came by the house. The folks before us noted that they fed them. The ocean wave noise made sleeping wonderful. This was our 2nd stay with Peter and we look forward to a return. He is a wonderful host.

Private house right on lava iron shore with a little beach close by
The house is very nice, large and roomy Everything you need to cook inside or bbq All kinds of beach toys and chairs in the closets Not too fancy, but better than most Bed was fine but not great in the master Air conditioner worked good although was rarely needed Neighbors were quiet when not there but our last night they arrived and it made for a little bit loud on the balcony Would book again even though it a little pricey for the place but just for the location it’s worth it Couldn’t snorkel out front as there’s really not an easy entry Overall we give it 41/2stars Thanks

Hawaiian Hideaway on the Water
We (2 couples) spent a lovely 2 weeks at Peter's home right on the water. The house was so well stocked with everything you can think of - pantry items, blender, coffee grinder, martini shaker, boogie boards, Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrella, cooler, full-size toiletries, puzzles, binoculars, etc. Peter is an excellent host; so quick to respond to any queries. We had many cooler, rainy days (due to a Kona Low weather system) so we really loved having a hot tub on the deck! We spent several days on the small beach/cove a short walk down the stairs and over the lava. The location can't be beat - walking distance to the Poke Shack and a few minutes by trolley or car to the snorkel beach (Kahalu'u) or downtown Kailua. Mahalo nui loa, Peter for a great stay!
