OCEANFRONT CONDO - As Kona residents for 25 years, our desire is to share ALOHA. This is your opportunity to Experience Tropical Paradise, spectacular sunsets year-round, spouting whales in winter, and frolicking dolphins. This secluded and prestigious 18 acre Resort is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean, Keauhou Bay, and world class golf courses, and only minutes to the best snorkeling on the Big Island.

Two lighted tennis courts and three pools with spas are convenient for your enjoyment. A gated security provides privacy and tranquility. Unobstructed views abound from this spacious 1700 square foot unit, complete with lanai wet bar; large master suite with king-size bed, and granite double shower enclosure for two.
Second bedroom has a king bed configuration unless two extra long twin beds are requested; full-size washer and dryer, ceiling fans throughout; porcelain tile floors throughout; granite counter tops in kitchen, and both baths, as well as granite walk-in shower and granite walls in tub shower enclosure.. Deluxe Koa wood cabinetry throughout.
Central air conditioning is provided at a nightly charge of $30.00 plus Hawaii State Tax. This is a NON-SMOKING unit. No Pets are allowed.

30 year anniversary
Repeat stay for us. This unit is everything - view, all the little things you want to make you feel at home (batteries, beach chairs, golf balls, etc). Janice is so accommodating and very responsive. She truly cares about our stay and we feel like part of her family when we are there. Without a doubt- best unit in Kanaloa!

Amazing views
Loved, loved, loved the front row seat to the evening sunsets. Sitting on the lanai just feet away from the ocean and listening to the waves was our favorite part of our stay. This was our first stay in a condo and I think we have been spoiled!

Lovely Hawaii Retreat
We enjoyed our stay here so very much. The home is furnished with everything one could possibley need to enjoy their stay in Hawaii, right down to ice chest and ice packs frozen and ready to use! We loved the location, sitting on the lanai, looking out at the ocean, watching and listening to the waves crashing on the rocks. We would definitely like to return to this little piece of paradise.

We have stayed at Kanaloa a few times and this unit was just great. Not only a perfect location - sit and watch that mesmerizing ocean from the lanai-but it was probably the best equipped condo we've ever stayed in. We will return!

Surf side condo
This is a great property for watching the surf break on the rocks just below the deck. And for sunset photos as is west facing. And for whale spotting. The unit is roomy and very comfortable and well maintained and well stocked. We enjoyed it a lot and hope to return.

Paradise living on the ocean
Beautiful fully equipped condo on the ocean, perfect for 2 couples. Sit on the lanai for breakfast and watch the whales breaching. The owner is accessible at all times if needed.

The Perfect Vacation
We had such a great time at this beautiful home. The location is as close to the ocean as you can get. It was so nice to fall asleep to the sounds of the waves. This condo is equipped with everything you will need for your stay. You can cook meals or head out to nearby restaurants. It is around the corner from the best snorkeling beach on the island. You can kayak, SUP, and even surf nearby. Thank you for another perfect vacation!

Fantastic wonderful stay
Janice was the most accomodating host and kept in communication with us leading up to our trip. The property was clean, well stocked and beautiful. Lots of extras like condiments, boogie boards, beach mats, funoodles, beach chairs, tennis rackets, and more. Great kitchen with lots of pots, pans, and utensils which we appreciate since we cook in for breakfast amd dinner. Great oceanfront views. We have stayed at Kanaloa at Kona many times and this location was the best so far.

The best vacation rental experience we’ve ever had!
Janice and Bruce’s condo is amazing. It has breathtaking oceanfront views (best location in the complex) and you get to be lulled to sleep by the waves. The condo was spotless when we arrived and I cannot overstate how thoughtfully and throughly well-equipped the condo is for visitors. The only thing we needed to get for our family was a few groceries. We were so sad to leave the best rental ever and we can’t wait to hopefully stay in this condo again.

A fantastic property
We booked the property based on the reviews, location and a unique and spacious layout. I can only affirm all of the positive reviews. The condo was spotless, the beachfront view was stunning and we were provided with everything we needed (beach towels, snorkeling masks, coolers, beach chairs, kitchen equipment/supplies, binoculars, etc). Additionally, Janice was exceptionally responsive to all of our questions before and during our visit. All things considered, the property was an outstanding home base for our vacation. I would not hesitate to book this condo again - we look forward to spending more time in this special place.

The BEST
We've been coming to Kona since 1991 and have stayed in more than a half dozen different ocean front two bedroom units at Kanaloa over the years. This unit is by far the best. Since we discovered it some years ago we always stay here. On top of that, Janice and Bruce are super hosts. They bend over backwards to make sure everything is perfect. Can't wait to come back next year!

Home Away from Home
We love staying in this oceanfront home away from away. Located steps from the crashing surf, it is wonderful to fall asleep to the sound of the waves. This perfectly appointed condo, is within the wonderful Kanaloa resort. The resort is equipped with three swimming pools and two tennis courts. It is around the corner from the best snorkeling beach and down the road from the Keahou Shopping center with movies, shops, and a convenient grocery store. Out of the hustle and bustle of downtown Kona, this beautiful condo is the perfect place to relax and unwind - the perfect getaway!

A Week in Paradise
Just had a wonderful week at this Kanaloa condo. Owners were very helpful during the reservation process. The location is ideal if you like to be right on the lava and ocean. Easy walk to the pools and tennis courts. Very comfortable condo. Good sized two bedroom with all furnishing in very good condition. Well furnished kitchen. Saw whales on our last day. Good location, close enought to Kona to get there quickly by car but not too close to put up with all the people and traffic. Highly recommend.

Perfect Hawaiian Vacation
This home was the perfect place for our family of adults to have an amazing time on the Big Island. We were mesmerized by the ocean waves sitting on the lanai celebrating the sunset every day. Slept soundly each night with AC and comfy beds. The condo had what we needed to make meals, fun at the beach with towels and chairs, and perfect distance from so many places to enjoy. Loved that we could wash clothes, and didn’t have to buy those common household items. The condo complex was quite, easy in and out, and convenient parking place. We hope to return again soon And will stay here again. Thanks for sharing your wonderful home.

Fantastic view of spinners dolphins playing in front of our lanai. Beautifully appointed condo
We had a wonderful stay at our water front Kanaloa condo. We ate most of our meals here because the view is better than any of the restaurants in town. There is no road noise and rarely a sound from another person. This unit is nicely appointed with many extras like kitchen supplies, all the beach toys we needed and even binoculars for whale watching. It is just a short walk to the ocean view swimming pool and a very short distance to the outdoor gas grill. I can’t imagine a better place to stay on the Kona water front.

Perfection
This property has it all, literally! The owners have thought of everything to make your stay feel like home. Communicating with the owners was easy and they responded so quickly. The view, superb! Beds were firm and comfy, kitchen fulky stocked. Plenty of beach towels as well. They had spices and oil for cooking, ziplock bags, ice packs for the cooler and nice beach equipment, at least 4 beach chairs, 4 boogie boards, snorkeling equipment, full face mask and goggles and snorkel. It definitely is t your "typical" rental. You can tell the owners take pride in their property and keep it very nice. It will be our place when we visit the Big Island from now on.
