Keauhou Bay Beach Park and Marina are just a short walk from the home where you can spend a day on the sand, take a sunset cruise out on the water, rent a paddleboard or kayak, or book an unforgettable snorkeling trip. For that shopping we mentioned? The Keauhou Shopping Center is a short drive or 15-minute walk away, featuring a variety of stores as well as a farmer’s market for stocking up on fresh local produce. The golf enthusiasts among you won’t want to pass up the opportunity to hit the fairways surrounded by unparalleled scenery, with one such option of the Kona Country Club being less than a 5-minute drive away.
Back at the home, enjoy the abundant fresh ocean air from your private shaded deck, outfitted with comfortable furniture whether you’re in the mood to lounge with a good book or enjoy a meal al fresco. Fire up the grill for a delicious barbeque lunch to enjoy alongside the sweeping views of Heeia Bay. A second outdoor living space can be found on the lower-level patio with even more lounge seating, a spacious back yard, and delightful fruit trees. Stepping indoors, the main level showcases soaring wood plank ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows flooding the space with abundant natural light. Curl up on the living room sofa as you stream a movie on the smart TV during the quiet evening hours. Let the open floorplan lead you organically into the dining room where a modern table with bench seating can accommodate 6 for formal meals, with 3 additional high-top barstools at the kitchen counter for overflow or more casual bites. The kitchen offers all the amenities needed to whip up delicious home cooked meals, with ample counterspace convenient for prepping and staging.
This home comfortably sleeps 8 guests between 3 private bedrooms and an air mattress available in the living room.
Bedroom #1 includes a king size bed, deck access, and ensuite bathroom with a dual vanity and glass walk-in shower.
Bedroom #2 includes a queen size bed.
Bedroom #3 includes a queen size bed and patio access.
The home also includes a half bathroom and an additional full guest bathroom with a single vanity and shower/tub combo.
THINGS TO NOTE:
• Washer and dryer in home.
• Driveway parking available for 3 vehicles.
• Each bedroom includes its own split AC unit, no AC in the living room or kitchen.
• Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property, on the premises, and in any nearby common areas. Violations will result in an automatic $500 fine, plus any additional costs for carpet and upholstery cleaning or other damages caused.
The Island of Hawai’i is a laid-back paradise with something for everyone, from stunning beaches and lush rainforests to snow-capped mountains and active volcanoes. If you're looking for a place to relax and soak up the sun, the Big Island is the perfect destination. There are plenty of beautiful beaches to choose from, including the popular Punaluʻu Black Sand Beach and the secluded Hapuna Beach State Park. And if you're looking for more adventure, there are plenty of opportunities for hiking, biking, kayaking, and snorkeling.
If you're interested in history and culture, you can visit Puʻuhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park, a sacred place of refuge for ancient Hawaiians, or the Lyman Museum and Mission House, which tells the story of the first Christian missionaries to the island.
And of course, no visit to the Big Island would be complete without seeing one of its active volcanoes. Mauna Loa and Kīlauea are two of the most popular volcanoes to visit, and there are plenty of tours available.
