Begin your blissful Hawaiian vacation by staying at Kanaloa at Kona by Gather, a 4-star oceanfront resort located at Kailua Kona on the western side of the Big Island of Hawaii. Let each marvelous morning melt your troubles away with the soft sounds of the ocean breeze outside your window, and bask in the beauty of the spectacularly colorful Hawaiian sunset each evening. This beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bath fairway unit can accommodate up to 6 people and is located on the 11th hole of the Kona Country Club’s ocean course, offering some of Hawaii’s best golfing just steps outside of your front door, and only 100 yards from the oceanfront.

This condominium unit was recently updated to include chic design and modern furnishings while holding onto elements that embody the feeling of “Old Hawaii”. The kitchen is outfitted with an array of appliances including an oven, microwave, and dishwasher, and displays rich koa wood cabinets as well as a countertop bar with stools. The unit comes with a private washer and dryer in a hidden closet adjacent to the kitchen. The kitchen then opens up to the main room, which includes a dining table that can accommodate up to 6 people, as well as the living room area equipped with a television, couch, and chairs for an open-air atmosphere, perfect for entertaining friends and family alike. The main room leads out to the main lanai (porch) where you can soak up the sun rays on the lounge couch, or enjoy a sunset dinner at the outdoor table set for up to 6 people. The entire lanai boasts views overlooking the manicured golf course grounds, all enveloped in the diverse tropical landscape of Aloha State. A wealth of natural light pours in from the lanai, lighting up the entire main room from sunrise to sunset.

The primary bedroom is fitted with a King bed, walk-in closet, and private lanai with a table and chairs accommodating up to 4 people for a wonderful way to greet the day. It includes a private ensuite with dual vanities and a tiled walk-in shower, all recently renovated with granite counters and koa wood cabinetry. The guest bedroom includes 2 twin beds that can be arranged separately or together, as well as a desk with views out to the front courtyard. The guest bathroom comes with a tiled tub and shower combo as well as renovated granite counters and koa wood cabinetry. Split system air conditioning in both bedrooms as well as the living room provides ample airflow throughout the unit.

The unit comes equipped with free internet, a library of reading materials for activities to explore around the Big Island, as well as complimentary beach supplies to use at the many magnificent beaches around the island, including a cooler, snorkel equipment, towels, and chairs. Both Keauhou Bay and Heeia Bay are within walking distance from the condo, where you and your party can swim, snorkel and sail to your heart’s content. At Keauhou Bay, you can enjoy a number of cruising, sailing, and diving options to explore and interact with the exotic marine life of Kona, including manta rays, dolphins, and Humpback whales (only during whale season which runs from approximately October to April). Kanaloa at Kona also allows nearby access to the Ho’oulu Community Farmers Market, the Keauhou Canoe Club & Sports Bar, and downtown Kailua Kona, the island’s most popular destination for activities, amenities, cuisine, and supplies for visitors to feel the full Hawaiian experience. Kanaloa at Kona is conveniently located just off of the Queen Ka’ahumanu Highway, allowing easy access to the entire Big Island, and is a 27-minute drive to and from the Kona International Airport.

By staying at the Kanaloa at Kona resort, you are guaranteed gated entry and monitored security 24 hours a day, as well as access to three pools (one oceanfront, one adult only) each with its own spa and separate restrooms, two night-lit tennis courts, five barbeques, covered dedicated parking, a community room, and an activities desk to ensure that you get the most out of your dream Hawaiian vacation.

Loved everything about the property with the exception of the neighbor upstairs. They were loud! You can hear every step they make and “they” did not care or have any respect for the ppl downstairs.
