Wonderful Stay!
Our condo was clean, spacious, comfortable, very well stocked, and had an amazing view. The grounds there are so peaceful and beautiful, and everyone working there is friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely stay!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our three week stay. The location directly on the water is without compare! We saw whales several times, great sunsets, fun watching the outrigger canoes go by, etc. The condo itself is extremely well maintained and very roomy. The grounds are very lush and staff are terrific. We would definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous oceanfront views from balcony. Spacious for our family of 7 adults. Very nicely renovated. Convenient beach equipment. Note- the beach there is rocky/ not for swimming- but lovely sandy beaches are only 20 - 30 min drive.

Incredible location!
VERY clean! The condo was stocked with plenty of essentials. The location is incredible, we enjoyed listening to the ocean from the lanai. The kitchen has plenty of items to prepare and serve many meals, and high end appliances. Plenty of room for our family. Hosts are quick to respond and very helpful.

Beautiful View!
Beautiful and well stocked condo. Amazing view from the balcony. Air conditioner is on a timer and so on days were we explored the island we came back to a hot condo but air and fans efficiently cooled things down quickly. Would 100% rent this unit again!!

This property was beautifully decorated and fully supplied with everything needed for a relaxing one of a kind Hawaiian vacation. Gourmet kitchen, lanai, lounge, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, walk in closets, washing machine/dryer, A/C. Walking distance to shops and beaches, the resort had 3 pools, tennis court, games area and easy parking. Driving distance to close or further tourist attractions - short drive to the airport. Prompt communication with owner for booking and stay details. Couldn't fault this property and would happily stay again.

Well appointed
Condo was impressively appointed. Everything from makeup mirror to beach & snorkel gear to power strips at the bedside. Full-size shampoo, conditioner & bodywash in each shower. Our party of 7 women had everything we needed for an incredible stay. Be sure to take the path to the bay next door. Snorkeling was good there.

We had a wonderful stay at your condo. Everything was just as you described or better. The view was amazing! The condo was very clean. We came during July and it was hot so the ac was great. It would cool down all the rooms well except for the master bathroom. We loved that you had everything we would need in the kitchen. The grounds were beautiful and secure.

Incredible place to stay
This condo far exceeds the pictures and written expectations. The owner did a beautiful job on the remodel of this condo. The location is perfect close to restaurants, grocery store, snorkeling and shopping. There 3 couples and this was perfect each couple had their own room and full bathroom. The amenities with pool and barbecue were great for evenings in hot tub with a nice beverage and watch the sunset. The view was so relaxing and hard to leave. The beach supplies and snorkeling supplies were wonderful. The fact this condo has air conditioning was a deciding factor in our chose, but there was so much more once we got there.

AMAZING!
We travel a fair amount and usually stick to vrbo style private rentals, and this one was GREAT! Beautiful condo in a beautiful location with a beautiful view-- I sat for hours listening to the waves crash at night. The condo was very well appointed-- there was even shampoo, sunscreen, makeup wipes, etc.. the amenities were great! There was snorkel gear, coolers, and 4 boogie boards! Layout of property was spectacular, we used the pools a lot and grilled out. We also did the night manta ray dive-- I would HIGHLY recommend-- and we could see the site from tbe property. I couldn't recommend this property any higher, a 6/5!

Perfect family vacation
This condo is right above the water and very well appointed for a group of 6. We traveled to Kona for Thanksgiving week and had a wonderful time. All three bedrooms had their own bathroom. The loft room was a bit warm when air conditioning was off, but was comfortable when AC was on. There are plenty of dishes, pans and basic spices. We decided the BBQ by the quiet pool was the easiest for us to use (the one by the ocean pool wouldn’t consistently light and seemed slower to heat up) We liked that it was not in the city center but not so far away we couldn’t go to town…about a 10-15 minute drive. Washer and dryer are newer and very quiet. We have no complaints and hopefully can return in the future.

Great Condo for Family Vacation
This was the perfect condo for a family vacation of 7 people, 4 adults and 3 teenage boys. Main bedrooms are spacious and the loft area is perfect for teenagers. The unit has been recently refurbished and the fixtures and fittings are first class. Virtually everything is available for gourmet, in-house cooking and family dinners around the table if that is your preference. The owners also make lots of beach hardware available, from chairs and boogie boards to a choice of snorkels, masks and fins. The lanai is perfect for sitting back, sipping a Mai-Tai and watching the sun go down. Cleanliness of the unit was perfect and it would be difficult to find anything negative to say in general. Better views from the bedrooms might be on the wish list, but overall, we had a great time and hope to go back to 2204 someday.

Excellent condo for group of 7
Our group of 7 found the condo to be just as advertised - comfortable for all seven of us, clean, and in excellent condition. Bonuses were the extremely well-equipped kitchen and plenty of regular and beach towels. We enjoyed having meals on the deck directly over-looking the ocean. There is also a closet in the carport with boogie boards and beach chairs. All beds are very comfortable. We had one small maintenance issue one evening and received a call back within several minutes to resolve it - excellent service. The resort, including pools, is well-maintained. There are several beaches and activity centers with excursions with 5 miles -- like places to rent kayaks or SUPs, and a marina that has launches for activities like snorkeling. The grocery store up the street is well-stocked and there are several restaurants in that same shopping center. All in all, convenient, clean, well-maintained and -equipped and well-situated for lots of activies.

Best of the best!
We have been to Kanaloa at Kona at least 25 times because it is by far the perfect complex for our family; 3 pools, 2 tennis courts, on the ocean and secluded yet close to everything, large spacious rooms, views from each unit, and beautifully manicured grounds. While we have stayed in many different and lovely condos, this particular one stands well above the rest. The ocean-front view is spectacular, but the interior is what makes this special. No detail has been spared - in updating the unit it is obvious that this was a labor of love. Beautiful, comfortable furnishings, but also every convenience is provided. A GREAT coffee maker & grinder (important), every appliance and kitchen gadget, tissues always handy (it's the little details), tons of hangers, make-up wipes in each bathroom, LOTS of towels (beach AND bath). This may seem silly but you don't miss something till you don't have it. Beds were amazing - we all commented on the great sleeps. Having the third bathroom was a godsend. You can't go wrong here - we loved our stay!

Can you say Beautiful Ocean Front Condo
First, Darrel and the property manager Mark are awesome to work with, very attentive. The condo had everything you could want from kitchen ware to linens. The 3-bedroom 3 bath worked perfect for our family. The lanai sat 6 comfortably at the table and had two nice lounges to kick back on. We loved our stay; this will be a go to when we are back on Kona. Mahalo

Hawaii vacation
The view from the lanai was the most awesome thing to wake up to each day. The condo was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed or happened to forget. The snorkeling gear was great and there was enough for everyone in our group. The living room did get a little hot in the afternoon even with air conditioning but we learned to close the shades and patio doors to help keep the sun out. I would definitely stay here again if and when I come back to the Big Island.

Amazing oceanfront condo
Our family had an awesome time celebrating the new year at Kanaloa 2204. We've stayed at the Kanaloa community quite a few times in the past and this experience was the best ever. All the amenities provided, fully stocked kitchen which enabled us to make a great new year's dinner and craft mai tais. Great location to enjoy watching the ocean including seeing spinner dolphins and whales from the lanai, and viewing the stars at night. We also had great and kind support when we had an issue caused by us. We would love to stay again.

Stunning
Condo 2204 is stunning from the gorgeous kitchen to the impressive lanai right on the water. The five of us stayed June 2022. The condo has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths on the main floor with an upstairs loft with two beds AND A BATH which is really handy. Our grand daughters enjoyed their privacy upstairs. The master suite is super with an impressive master bath. We ate all our meals on the lanai - in the mornings it is cool and you can watch the boat traffic or for whales and dolphins; the evenings are fantastic for sunsets (and listen to the waves). The condo is comfortable although I would like more charging stations for phones and Ipads. We have stayed at Kanaloa before and it is always the perfect place for us. It is easy traveling down the South Kona coast, into Kailua town, or up the Kohala coast. It is not too far into Hilo for some of the museums and sights there. A very good casual dine-in/take out restaurant close by is Bianelli's at the Keauhou Shopping Center. For a fantastic view and fine dining Sam Choy's is just up mauka. We would gladly stay here again.
