Studio apartment
This was a good place to drop your stuff while in Hawaii. It wasn't glamourous, but it's an alright place to stay. Highlights:-Good price-Good available parking(included)-Near ocean-Airport close-Shopping close(by car- not foot)-Pool and Laundry across the street-clean areas-Good communication with Landlord-Cooler availableThings the property could improve on:-Fridge didn't work, Landlord did come & look at it, but it was not fixed, we opted to let him repair after our stay,(he compensated us for it).-White towels were stained, a different color might not show as much & there were not enough towels provided for a one week stay. Nor were there any beach towels available & very few kitchen towels.-Bed not secured to the wall/headboard, and it was poor quality mattress, a hotel mattress would be a better option.-A parking pass is required-which was not mentioned in any documentation, you get that across the street in the main building-The door into the apartment sticks when entering- could be a build up of paint & humidity, could use some work.-The patio door also sticks & is difficult to open, again could use some work-Cable tv didn't work-Provide basic spices salt/pepper Things to consider when renting property:-AC is on a 4 hr timer.-Unit is 3rd floor with no elevator access-Noise starts at 6am from traffic on busy Ali'i Drive.-No extras like beach chairs/umbrellas (we rented)-Lanai is built on a slight slant, we didn't spend any time out there.
