"A neat, clean property in a location very handy to central Whanganui. It suited our group well although it was very difficult to cook for 6 using the small pots - we borrowed some from a friend. Arrived to find someone had jumped the fence and fairly well stripped the lemon tree before we moved him on. The major downside was the terrible WiFi which was almost unusable and the very old TV - could not use it for the kids or anything but the news really. Otherwise a great location and would...

We only stayed there overnight and got in late but it is lovely. They have an honesty box for fizzy drinks and chocolate (we didn't have either but the kids really wanted it) if we had stayed longer we would have got some of these yummies for sure."

"Half house, half museum, we loved Monday Cottage! It is old, but comfortable and full of old-fashioned charm. We stayed five days and still didn't finish checking out all of the fascinating collection of books, records, pictures, ornaments and other miscellanea with which the house is filled.
