Great place on the North Shore
Had a great stay at this turtle bay condo! Had everything we needed! Loved being able to cook breakfast and do laundry! Everything is exactly how it’s listed and Dorothy, the owner, was very accommodating and would respond quickly to any questions! Loved that there was beach towels and snorkel gear provided! Would totally stay again!

Cute condo in Kawela Bay
Loved the location on North Shore Oahu. It is right off Kamehameha Hwy so easy to get to an out of for adventuring. Our first impression was that it was clean and well stocked with kitchen stuff to cook and eat meals. Loved eating breakfast on the screened in porch and watching the sunrise. There were a few quirks but we notified the host. And it wasn't Anything that truly affected our experience.

Great stay

Just as advertised. Beautiful condo right next to Turtle bay resort
We had a great stay and loved the condo. If you want to stay at the North shore this is the place for you. We will definitely be going back next year!

The property needs update, because of the refrigerator, stove, microwave and dining floor
We especially enjoyed our stay because of the lanai area with a view of the golf course and having the pool so close. We have a good time!

Overall it was fine. Our only complaint was that the Kuilima pools are too deep for our children (3 and 1) and we didn't have access to the hotel pools which would have been great for the kids. The condo was well equipped in the kitchen and with beach toys, chairs, eyc.

Overall a nice place to stay. Unit had everything we needed. Could use some updates, as refrigerator and oven are very old, but both in working condition. A small TV in the bedroom would be nice. Pool was just across the parking lot and never crowded. We enjoyed our 4 days here.

Thanks for such a comfortable unit. We enjoyed watching the holders plus used your set of clubs several times. My favorite is the back nine of the Palmer Course. All of the birds from the sanctuary make it almost spiritual. We will return next year for sure. Aloha. Cliff and Pat

Loved the location
We loved the location....we did not spend a lot of time in the condo. Mainly just to sleep. The condo is a great place. Needs a little upkeep though. You can tell that it is an older condo. Needs a fresh coat of everything. But I would not hesitate to stay here again. My wife was a little upset at the fact that we saw a couple cockroaches in the kitchen!!! I told her thats what the geckos eat and not to worry!!

Extremely Disappointed
My husband and I stayed at this condo last week and were extremely disappointed in the overall condition and cleanliness of the unit. I assure you it looks nothing like the photos shown above. The unit was sorely in need of professional cleaning, painting and basic maintenance. This included dirty walls, doors, drawers, cobwebs with spiders, rusty hardware, lamps that haven't been dusted/cleaned in a long time, amateur dry wall patching, dingy sofa, and unfinished molding as examples. My advice is to find another place with a different company.

We highly recommend this place. Absolutely amazing! the condo was perfect. Very reasonably priced. So comfortable, It felt like home, we didn't want to leave! Great location walking distance to Turtle Bay resort, yet private and quiet in a secure gated property . The weather was perfect, we never had to use the wall AC unit. Well appointed, comfortable king size bed and a fold out couch. Full Kitchen so you can cook at home, we had the most amazing macadamia encrusted Marlin and Ono. The food trucks have great food too! Step out at night to enjoy the beautiful stars on the golf course. Golf was fabulous, Fazio course was challenging and gorgeous with ocean front views. We are totally charmed and in love with North Shore, we will be back OFTEN and we will stay right here. Dorothy was easy to work with. Mahalo Nui Loa!

Not very satisfied
Room smell musty from bedding, sofa bed almost tumble down when I move. And I couldn’t sleep all night. I have to sleep on the floor better than that. Small AC only in the bed room. For living room no AC and floor fan doesn’t work. We have to clean up everything before we leave even bedsheets pillow and towels if we don’t do that they will charge extra. And lastly neighbors who lives up stairs children they running above your head all the time (I woke up at6:0am the start running until I got the bed still running) so disappointed if you paid almost $400 per night for this experience.

Cozy and Clean, don't plan on late checkout.
Overall the place was perfect for us. We are a family of 4 with 2 young children and they slept on the pull out bed and it was perfect for them. There was plenty of bedding and pillows for everyone and they were all clean and in good condition. We didn't end up using the dishwasher but the rest of the appliances worked great. The condo is in good condition and we felt at home there. It's really hot when you first walk in but once we got the fans on and the AC on, it cooled down significantly by the time we went to bed. Otherwise the temperature didn't bother us during the day when we were there. The only negative I have was in the communication at the beginning. When I booked the condo I requested to have a late checkout since I have a 3 year old who still naps during the day. We had a redeye out and wanted him to nap because I knew he wouldn't sleep on the plane. I didn't hear back after booking and gave it a few days before I followed up. I didn't hear back again and followed up a second time when I was given a different person to contact. This person responded to me within a day or so and said we could do late checkout but that it wasn't guaranteed. Then I was told the next day that someone booked for that evening so we could not do late checkout. I get it, it's a business. However, I did pay for 6 nights and requested this well in advance to have a late check out for that day. Basically, it's a great place to stay, but don't plan on a late checkout.

Property had roaches and ants!
We should have realized we had a problem when we walked into the property and it had Roach Hotels and Ant traps everywhere! I opened the dishwasher and it had at least 20 roaches crawling in it. I touched the dishwasher handle and out crawled a big roach. There were roaches in the utensils drawer, silverware drawer, bathroom and who knows where else. We did not have much food, but what we did have we kept in the refrigerator so it would not attract bugs. We emailed and texted the owner twice and asked her to send a professional company to spray the property. We never heard from her! The complex is pretty though older. In addition we were there during a heat wave 90-100 degrees with 71% humidity. The Tradewinds had stopped. Not the fault of the owner, however, there is only one small, old, original wall air conditioner in the bedroom that had obviously not been serviced in years and was not working well. We could not get the interior below 89 degrees. Absolutely miserable! The property has not been renovated. It has newer carpet and drapes. The kitchen has not been renovated; original dishwasher, countertops, stove, refrigerator, windows. Bathroom tub has been refaced everything else is original. In addition there is no vacuum or mop to clean the floors. North Shore however is beautiful. The Ocean was lovely. We found coves where we were the only swimmers. Food was excellent. If you come to North Shore, stay in the Turtle Bay Resort. If you go in October you get unlimited golf for free. It is beautiful and well worth the price, unless you like Roaches!

RUN DOWN-dust and mold
The condo is superficially clean, when you first walk in it looks great. And the directions we were given to get in were easy to follow and check-in went smoothly. Within 10-15 minutes, you notice huge dust bunnies all over the ceiling and tops of the drapes (particularly in the bedroom). You are told to use the AC unit sparingly and instead open the windows. That works OK when it is not super windy (which it was, unfortunately, causing doors to slam when we tried to circulate air) and not at night (not safe to have a screen door open all night with a teen daughter in the other room and the master being right next to the parking lot). If we did use the AC unit, it started leaking all over the floor within 20-30 minutes. The fans in the bedroom are both very weak and provided very little cool air. The fans in the family room were much better. The kitchen was very well stocked which was great. However, the fridge/freezer is growing black mold in a few spots (they have attempted to paint over it). And the area between the oven and the fridge is flat-out gross. It needs a very good cleaning which would not be difficult, just pull the fridge out and clean. They have gotten new furniture since they took pictures. The fold-out couch is extremely uncomfortable, you can feel the springs through the mattress. Our daughter opted to sleep on the floor. They have a beautiful wood floor, but it was not put in well and has massive gaps between the planks in many spots. They have not taken the time to recenter any of the pictures since getting new furniture, so it just looks unkempt and sloppy. This condo needs so major TLC. It is in a great location and has potential, it is just not taken care of well enough to actually provide a comfortable place to stay after a long day of activities, especially when it is hard to cool the place down. We had friends staying in two other condos in the same development, and their condos were immaculate and the AC worked great. Hopefully the owners will spend some serious time deep cleaning this place and making it more comfortable We have stayed in VRBOs all over the US and this place was one of the most uncomfortable and run-down condos we have stayed in unfortunately. (We did not attempt to contact the property manager during our stay but we also had no contact which is surprising, typically when we rent a condo they check in with us after a day or two, which I think is excellent customer service!)

Great condo!!
We really enjoyed staying at this condo. It was perfect for our family. Walking distance to turtle bay beach and we ate dinners at Lei Leis on the golf course. We will stay here again next year :)
