"This is a very large chain of hotels throughout Japan with accommodations of differing categories such as Express and Premium. If you stayed in one, you know pretty much what to expect in others. These are comfortable. The staff is polite and they are great value. The breakfast was very good with lots of choices and the spa very nice as well. I would stay here again. It's located just a few minutes walking from the Okayama JR station. And, it's a 25 minute walk to the Garden and Castle. Also, it's very close to many restaurants. Recommended."

"Kurashiki was a very nice place to visit. Ivy Square Hotel was located in very convenient and central Kurashiki. Hotel was converted from the part of old factory. It was clean, room very comfortable and roomy, Public bath was great. Buffet breakfast had excellent choice and all very tasty. Highly recommend this hotel in Kurashiki. Only 18 min of walk to JR station, nice walk along the canal."

"Lovely spacious room, with largest bath we’ve had. Bed and pillows (unusual husk ones, which were firm, unlike most of the too squishy ones elsewhere!) were comfortable; Buffet breakfast was great. Very convenient to station and garden, and lovely view of the little canal nearby. Staff were helpful, and friendly, and we took up a suggestion to go to Kurashiki Bikan, which we enjoyed. The display of local arts and crafts n the lobby and on each floor was an interesting touch. Would definitely recommend this hotel. "
