"This motel is a good locally owned and operated budget option in Lusaka. It offers a very pleasant courtyard, good restaurant with limited menu, and clean, basic room. Location is not too far from the center, though Lusaka is not a good town for walking, and there are nor restaurants, bars, etc. near the property. I stayed here twice, and the TV reception was poor in each room. Also some problems with WI-FI on the first stay."

"There are two Kakwele Lodges. The one we stayed at was further from the airport in a back street of Lusaka, about a 20 minute drive. We were charged $15 for each of the 4 journeys to and from the airport, which I considered to be excessive. The room at the lodge was adequate, but a little cramped (especially the shower). "Great environment, some friendly staff but hotel is not service oriented at all. The reception seemed to be angry to have to receive guests or provide any (standard) service requested. Rooms with the bare minimum but clean. Nice game walk with a friendly ranger."
