"We stayed one night at The Summit in Kandy during our trip to Sri Lanka. The places is maybe even more beautiful than the pictures, the rooms have incredible views over the city, plus they are modern and super clean (and A/C works well and it is quiet). Yes, the place is not in the center of Kandy, but you can very easily get a tuk tuk that will take to the center and back. Breakfast is very nice, especially the fruits and the Sri Lankan dishes (if you are up for a salty meal in the morning)....

"The place was well looked after, but not close to town. The staff were great. Only complaint would be the breakfast was not a buffet. You had to order it the day before. This is not a reflection of the hotel but a lot of monkeys. Do not leave anything outside. My aunt had a top and make up bag stolen. They can open doors as well. Must leave your balcony door locked."
