"Lovely property! The bakery is unique lodging and was in an excellent location to explore Normandy. The walk into Bayeux was a bit long but lovely along a river. We visited the DDay sites as well as Mont St Michel by car. The owner lives in a large house on the property and was very welcoming and informative, though with no one present on arrival it was easy to follow directions to access the property. This is absolutely a great location to stay if you are travelling in Normandy by car. "

"What a wonderful place! We are a family of four and were worried that our two boys would run out of things to do but they loved it! The garden is big enough to explore, play football, badminton and get lost in. The swing and outdoor shower were an added bonus. The house is perfectly located 1hr from Caen, 20 minutes from Vire and an easy drive to the D day beaches. Property manager was excellent with communication and he and his spouse met us at check in and gave us a tour of their GORGEOUS property! Heureusement qu’il y a l’extérieur et qu’il faisait bon… Par contre, l’intérieur est un mobilhome.. donc très étroit et pour ce qui est des couchages… mieux vaut avoir un bon dos..Et pour 6… un peu rude non? "Our stay at the cottage was ok, the pool is lovely and the hot tub is a plus. The cottage is very small, we are a family of 4 which was tight. 6 people would be too many as there is only a sofa bed to sit on in the living room so people have to sit at the dinner table in the evening. Thankfully we didn’t need to use the sofa bed as it was broken. We did inform the owner who said she was aware it was broken but didn’t say it would be fixed or a new sofa bought. "The Gite was extremely clean and comfortable and warm with homely furniture and great equipment. The log burner was welcome for warm cosy evenings. There are lovely views across the countryside . The garden is secure with furniture and a BBQ great for summer time although we did brave it whoie the sun was out. "We adored this property! It was so beautiful and tranquil. It was so easy to travel to the D-sites and very close to Bayeux, our nearest gorgeous town. It was also very easy to get taxis. Even the drivers are really friendly. It was a very relaxing house. Fully recommend it!!"

"We had a lovely stay here despite getting lost when we first arrived which was totally our fault for using Apple Maps instead of Google Maps. Owners nicely came and found us about 15 minutes away from home. Lovely outside area for sitting and having wine! "
