Unfortunately, we did not have a good stay at this location. We had expected it to be peaceful and, on a lake with a view. Instead, we were not near a lake at all, we had to drive to everything, the closet place to purchase food was at least 30 minutes away, other than a small corner store. From the ad, we thought that we were the only suite with a peaceful outside spot. However, you could hear absolutely everything from upstairs, including children running around waking me up before 7 and continuing throughout the day. We could also hear voices and adults walking around. We were not the only suite, there was another one that had to walk past our whole space, including our bedroom window and our little patio, therefore we had to pull the blinds for the whole day, making our suite extremely dark and cave like. We weren't comfortable sitting on the little patio because the other suite was walking within a foot of us in order for them to leave and return and use the sauna and cold plunge. I had to politely ask for the children to please not run around above us, the landlord responded politely, and the running around ceased for a short time but then became just as bad, which was very loud, and we did not find peace at all. I wish we had been put in the other suite, which was peaceful, and we were there the longest, for 7 days. My husband had to work form this suite all day, and the furniture was very uncomfortable, even just to sit at for dinner. We didn't enjoy this stay.

Scenic location
Very well set up suite, great views across the water to Sooke. Family have young children but they are very mindful of guests and sound transfer. No problem for us we have been through that stage and understand. Thanks Tanya and Dave thatvstage

Relax & Recharge
Tanya & Dave have a perfect spot to escape from city life and enjoy the beauty of East Sooke - especially the regional park! After a day of exploring the Sauna / Cold Plunge combo are a must, set in the perfect location on the property. The rental unit is outfitted with top of the line appliances and amenities. Extremely accommodating hosts with great communication. I will be re booking for next year!
