Incredible 4 Bedroom Oceanfront Beach House with Beach Access

Situated in picturesque East Sooke, Pacific Coast Beach House is a perfect destination for your West Coast vacation.

Important Notice: This property is located in a region that is not impacted by the BC Short Term Rental Accommodation Act that came into effect on May 1, 2024.

This large home with separate suite has room for the whole family both inside and out. Private beach, private dock and an incredibly large lawn which cascades down to the water. A perfect location for your next vacation.

Pacific Coast Beach House is a split level home with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The main level of the home offers one bedroom, one bathroom, living room with wood burning fireplace, kitchen and dining area. The living room boasts floor to ceiling windows, patio access, a baby grand piano and stunning views of the ocean. Upstairs you will find a second bedroom, office space and a four piece bathroom. On the third level of the home is the very large, bright and comfortable master suite. Floor to ceiling windows, 10 foot ceilings and a private patio provide the perfect space to enjoy the unobstructed ocean views. There is also a one bedroom suite which is separated by the garage providing additional accommodation. The suite has a separate entrance, kitchen, bathroom and living area. The suite also has it's own patio providing the same unobstructed view of the ocean and landscape surrounding the house.

Located on a very large and private property, Pacific Coast Beach House and Suite is located right on the ocean with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, Whiffin Spit and the Olympic Mountain range. There is a large 50 ft dock with deep water moorage available and also a unique waterfront gazebo providing you every opportunity to view the abundance of wildlife and nature surrounding you.

East Sooke is a rural community but with amenities not too far away. A corner store, which is located about 10 minutes away by car or you can drive to the town of Sooke which has all amenities you will need. There are so many wonderful places to visit within the East Sooke and Sooke communities. East Sooke Regional Park has over 55 km of coastal and rain forest trails to explore. The Sooke Potholes is a popular swimming hole among the locals, the Galloping Goose Trail runs adjacent to the Potholes or visit the historic 17 Mile Pub which was built in 1894.

Great Location, Great View, Great Home
Everything was very clean. The home is aged but a great clean space to spend a week watching sunsets over the ocean. Seals and otters on the dock in the morning, fishing we caught nothing but seaweed, caught crabs, and all appliances, laundry, bbq worked and well stocked for family meals of 8. Definitely recommended if you don't mind the winding road in and steep driveway. The property is in a cell phone roaming location though, but wifi works great.

Great place for the family to relax
This secluded paradise is perfect for a family get a way to just relax and hang out together. It is so close to hiking as an afternoon break from just laying out in the back yard. Nature everywhere was a refreshing break from daily life. Would highly recommend this property.

We love it!
This property is beautiful! This was our 2nd time at this amazing house and we will come back again. We live in Victoria and it's a gift to be so close to such a lush,secluded, amazing piece of nature. We had the best family time and fun at this house. The communication and welcoming energy from the owners was awesome. We highly reccomend this house to anyone. A peaceful and relaxing time for all. We'll be back! :)

We loved this place!
If you love being in nature and away from crowds, this is an amazing place! There was a great view of the harbor and we could see otters playing on the dock and bald eagles flying around every day, not to mention great sunsets and stargazing. There is a big yard, the beds were comfy and the kitchen was functional, making a "stay at home" day fun too. It is a bit out in the country, meaning going to many sites is a bit of a drive on a very winding road, but there is plenty of hiking nearby. The property manager was very helpful, coordinating our rather late arrival and also solving a disconnect with the gazebo key expeditiously. Our younger 20ish group members loved the "connected" duplex, though note there is not a pass through between that and the main house (have to go outdoors). All in all, we loved the property and we would go again.

The views were exceptional, and we loved having the large yard and fabulous long dock to ourselves. Because we enjoy meals together, they arranged a 7-person setup for dining that worked well for us. We observed several families of river otters, a pair of bald eagles, and a harbor seal in the bay. Wishes: more than one set of towels per person and a large salad bowl. Leaving the driveway to turn onto Sooke Road was always a challenge because of the vehicles that can come along too fast. If the county would install mirrors that would help. Great memories of the home and area!

Fabulous Pacific Coast Beach House

Beautiful (bay & ocean) views, spacious rooms, "comfortable" beds, private beach, dock & gazebo all on a large private lot (you don't see your neighbors). Minutes to the most amazing hiking trails (East Sooke Regional Park). An older home but, well maintained. NOTE: This is in a rural area (about 10-15 minute winding road to get there and a steep driveway) but, worth it. Closest town is Sooke, about 20-25 minutes...Victoria is about 50 minutes. Butchart Gardens about an hour. Sooke is a great little town offering many amenities; restaurants, tours (Kayak, Whale watching) etc. Best vacation!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent a week at your property from 24 June 2022 to 02 July 2022. The house is located in a wonderful position surrounded by trees and very close to the sea front. However, when we arrived we found:• The house not properly cleaned.• One of the toilets would not flush and the toilet bowl was smeared with faeces.• Dead flies and other debris scattered around.• The fireplace was not cleaned and had the remains of the previous fire.• General maintenance not done, for example: Towel rails coming away from the walls, bad fitting draw in the kitchen, fly screens missing on windows, runners for the sliding door to the deck from the kitchen so dirty and full of debris that made the door difficult to open.• Even if described as a feature, and some of the reasons why we selected the property, the pier and the gazebo were out of bounds, considerably reducing our enjoyment of the property• There was not sufficient space to hang clothes, particularly on the top floor.• The upper deck had a table and 4 chairs on it, which were dirty and rusty. The fabric on the seat of the chairs was ripped and probably dangerous.Additionally the support and communications from the letting agency were very poor:• It took until Tuesday to sort out the toilet problem and did not get calls back when I was told I was going to. The excuse given was that the letting company does not allow to ring foreign cell telephones.• The agent promised to come with the plumber but did not turned up until I was gone for the day, even if I had clearly told him that I was going fishing from 0930 h.• We were told that the charges would be reviewed as the gazebo and landing pier were not usable, but have not received any notifications.• In resume, what it could have been a great stay resulted in an OK stay. The house is tired and for the price paid we were expecting a hig

Beautiful property
Beautiful property with a large house and a big back yard. The geese are nice to look at and very photogenic, but make walking through the grass an obstacle course. Has direct access to the water. Kitchen is a good size and had enough plates and silverware for our 3 adults. Good hot water and water pressure. Easy access to East Sooke Regional Park. Loved our stay here!

Inside not as good as outside
The house is in a great location. Beautiful. Love the ocean views, the dock, and yard. Sadly, it's in bad repair, dated, and not very cozy. The house was pretty unclean upon arrival. Sunflower seeds on the floor and kitchen pans still dirty in the cabinets. The house feels tired overall. Towel rods in the bathroom repaired with electric tape is just one example. Furniture is mismatched throughout the house. It just kind of feels like someone went to a thrift store and got random used pieces. Strange to have random dining room tables for 4 people in various rooms, but not one space for a group larger than 6 to sit together for a meal. Not what you would expect from a $ 1000-a-night home. No extra sheets or extra blankets anywhere in the home. Not a single blanket around in a home that is drafty and somewhat cold. The bedroom suite has outdoor wicker furniture that is sooo uncomfortable. The kitchen is poorly stocked. Not a single oven mit is available. Not enough dishes for a home that hosts 6+ people. The gazebo was advertised with a listing, but the stairs to it are missing with caution tape blocking the entrance. This was not disclosed to us. Musky smell throughout the house. It just kind of feels dingy in many ways. This could be a fantastic rental if it was cared for better. It just feels neglected. Sad.
