"Close to the train station. They charge a "resort" fee which is ridiculous because it is nowhere near being a resort. Old building, so lots of dangerous edges to drop off if you are a senior. The personnel were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good."

"Hotel had nice upgrades to common space w/ indoor pool/spa and sauna. Breakfast area was nice, but we didn't have breakfast any of the mornings. Rooms are tiny, but apparently standard for France. Hotel is in a weird industrial area, but quiet. Eery at night, but seemingly safe and totally fine. Sleepy town. "

"A seulement 2H de Bordeaux, nous avons séjourné à 15 dans un endroit très bien equipe, avec du cachet. Piscine spa, billard, baby foot, pétanque, Ping pong.. tout était là pour passer de supers moments entre amis. Jean - Marc le propriétaire fait partie de la magie de ce lieu. "A bit outdated but otherwise great place to stay: one of the most comfortable mattresses I have ever slept on, spacious room, big soft towels and friendly staff. Highly recommend!"

"This is a great hotel if you are travelling to or from Spain as it is in a quiet area with easy access to the main route. The hotel is very comfortable with spacious rooms with tea/coffee making facilities and large beds. Bathrooms have bath as well as shower and excellent hot water and also complimentary toiletries and hairdryer. Breakfast was very good and the room was very pleasant. "The hotel was very central and suited my needs perfectly, the allowed me store my luggage for the day I was leaving. Due to me having an accident they allowed the ambulance man collect my luggage with my ticket, I was much relieved that I did not have to collect it myself."

"We would not hesitate to recommend this rental. Martine’s communications were always prompt and thorough. We particularly appreciated that she left us breakfast for our first morning having arrived in the early hours. Home made plum jam was such a treat. "We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions, it is very basic but suits our needs as an overnight stop with a dog. Last night we arrived and found the toilet seat cracked through and the sink cracked, the shower sealant was mouldy. I informed the reception about the toilet seat and was told there was no other rooms available and she thanked me for telling her. This morning at breakfast I gave my dog a piece of my paid for baguette and a piece of cheese, the gentleman on reception came into the breakfast room and informed me the food was for humans and not dogs! There was a French man with his dog in the breakfast room, he gave his dog food with no problem. We will not be staying here again and I would not recommend this hotel based onmy latest experience, I felt extremely threatened by the attitude of the male receptionist and his manner towards me. "

"What a lovely house and fantastic grounds and pool for a great family holiday. We wanted a rural french experience and that's exactly what we got. Communication with the owner was excellent from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend!"
