"Though a little away from things and I somehow got lost every single time I set foot outside, I did enjoy staying here. The pool was delightful and the A/C was a lifesaver. Staff was very good and helpful (e.g. immediately dealt with a blown fuse when I told them about it), but it should be noted that I think they spoke less English than the property advertised (I REALLY should have used Google translate to explain what was going on with the previously mentioned blown fuse). "What a wonderful stay - the room was comfortable and chic with strong AC, a comfort bed, and a nice bathroom. The rooftop bar and pool were lovely with amazing views of the ocean. Benjamin and the other staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The location was great - right in the heart of Stone Town. I highly recommend it! "

"I stayed here one night after landing in stone town. Perfect spot to nap on and off to get through the jet lag and be right in the heart of stone town. Extremely walkable to sites. The rooms are spacious, excellent shower and super comfy bed. Very clean and was just what I was looking for. Please note that it was a bit difficult to find. The taxi just dropped me off on the main road because cars can’t access the small streets. Once you know where it is, it’s super simple to return to"

"This hotel is a great little haven of serenity set right on the beach front with friendly hospitality. The staff are really helpful and will do as little or as much for you as you want. The breakfast is fresh, healthy and sufficient. There are plenty of little restaurants in in the village or along the beach front but the hotel will cook for you if you wish and the food is great."

"I booked the hotel for thirty days and ended leaving after 4 days. The pictures may look pretty and filtered, and the name sounds wonderful. "Because we were only stopping for 2 nights we weren't too particular as to the room so chose the cheapest option but in retrospect we should have picked one next to the pool. We were in an annexe a 20meters away and it was a small room, though it did provide an effective ac unit, tea and coffee facilities, hit shower, clean towels both days, mosquito net, and it was clean and well presented. "Posto incantevole. Tenuto benissimo. Strada super dissestata per arrivarci, diciamo non in linea con un 5 stelle. Personale super gentile e cortese. Fanno del loro meglio. "Very friendly staff. We had the room that had the patio next to the pool. Very convenient for morning and eveving swimming. We went only once to the larger pools on the property. The Jetty and Mango bars were fun and had very good drinks. Food at the Indian restaurant was fantastic and the best meal we had on the property. Sadly we did not get a chance to try the Italian restaurant. We did not know that it needed a reservation like the Indian restaurant. The snack bar by the Mango bar had good snacks, popcorn, peanuts, hotdogs, etc. We will be going back again next year."

"Right on the beach in StoneTown .This hotel is unmatched for location as well as service. Friendly and caring staff who are happy to assist with all your needs. Rooms were clean and comfortable with air-conditioned, a mini fridge, and kettle with coffee and tea provided. Great pool areas which were well maintained. A charming place with lots of history. I would definitely stay again!"
