"This is my first time visiting Tokyo and Juyoh was my first hotel/hostel stay. What a great first impression of Japanese hospitality. Juyoh is located in Taito City, which is a charming and quieter area north of Ginza. The room is modestly sized with a tatami style sleeping mat and cushion, which is quite comfortable for people who are minimalists, a sleeping style called "shikibuton." There is no TV. "Very cool hostel! Has a chic coffee shop and clothing shop downstairs, host was extremely nice and made sure that people were comfortable, right next to Keisei Takasago station for easy commute. I had a great time talking and hanging out with host and fellow hostelmates, will be coming back!"

"We stayed in a 2-bed room for 10 nights. You should expect the bathroom to be small, but it has everything we needed. The hotel has a common area kitchen, which we didn't use much, but also the room itself had a little fridge and a table. There is a laundromat literally across the street if you need to do laundry. The staff was SO nice the entire time!!! We really enjoyed our stay here while in Japan!"

"My 2 nights stay was terrible because I had a very big quarrel with another guest; was allotted a bed in the female room by a woman named Nana;the first night was fine but on the second night, came back from late night work, was tired and I just needed a good night sleep but as I went to my allotted bed,a Chinese guest came in and started shouting and screaming loudly at me,saying that was her bed;there was no staff member to solve the issue; had the worst experience in my entire life"

"Good value. Hostels like this one are perfect for setting up a "base" when you do Tokyo AND other areas of Japan. Check the commute times with your district of interests, as this isn't Shinjuku. Everything worked out fine (100 yen to use the shower, 100 yens to use the laundromat)"

"As a traveler, you pack many things and body towels aren't something you would pack as it takes up a lot of space, even though I know it's a hostel, but there's a charge to rent. We rather buy it at a market for 120yen instead of renting for 100yen. Very strict with check-in time at 4pm and check out time at 11am. The rooms were clean for triple room. "This place was more spacious than most other places I've stayed at in Tokyo, which was a huge plus. The nearest train station was close and accessible by walking. However, visitors should note that this place is pretty far from the big tourist areas, such as Shibuya, Ginza, Shinjuku, etc. Everything is accessible by train, but it will take you a while (maybe give it like 1 hour). The place was very clean. Great stay"

"The helpful friendly staff were amazing and went out of their way to help. The room was quite nice, a little small and no wardroom but it was ok for short visits. It would be nice if they had onsite The kettle and cups were in the room but no tea or coffee, you had to go to reception to get tea and coffee. "

"Very respectful staff, and very helping, there's a restaurant that is annexed to the hotel and the food is very delicious and cost friendly. The train station is only a 1min walk away with convinience stores on the opposite side of the street, very convient location and easy to travel to, would definitely stay there again."
