The challenge was that the deck had not been cleaned (bird droppings and just grime) for a long time - had to put a towel on the chair to cover the yuk. "Great stay in a beautiful setting. Studio was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. Owners were very nice and always there if we needed information. We looked forward to seeing the hundreds of Gambel Quail come to roost in the trees every night. We will definitely stay here again in the near future. "

"Very much enjoyed our stay. Had all we needed and the owner was very responsive and prompt with communication. Only negative comment would be that it is on the main road through town which was loud when large trucks drove by. That would not be a deterrent from staying again. Just an FYI for those traveling who are light sleepers. Little bakery underneath was fantastic."

"Great location across from the Wallowa lodge. You are essentially in a basement studio apartment. When we stayed the Upstairs neighbors took most the parking and we had to squeeze in, which was annoying. Very small and would be tough to fit more than two adults and one child."

"I had originally booked one of the one bedroom units, but unfortunately when I checked-in there was a pool of water of the Kitchen floor - evidently there had been a storm power outage the day before and it tripped the breaker to the refrigerator/freezer and the ice in the freezer had melted and leaked out onto the floor. When I found this, I called the property manger and they promptly moved me to a two bedroom unit - which was great. I'm glad it was that simple for them and for me. The unit...

"The property was as described. Clean and comfortable and welcoming for us and our two labs (small fenced in back yard for them to go outside of leash). Even though it's right in "town" it was very quiet. The house comes well equipped and even had a hand mixer for making a birthday cake. We'll be back."
