"We had a great stay, the cabin is very cozy and cute! There was no shortage of amenities, plenty of towels, blankets, books, games etc. The home is very clean and we loved the hot tub. The location was nice and close to the grocery and downtown Stanley, I just wish I knew that most of the Shenandoah trails are 45-60 min away. That being said, we loved the home and would stay again. "

"We stayed at Roundhead cottage. It was an amazing location with a wonderful view of “butt mountain”. That’s just the name we gave the double peaks we could see. My grand daughter beat my husband at chess 10-2 We had beautiful weather and great hikes every day. The house has everything you want in the kitchen and then some. We cooked most days but Food Lion is just a bounce away. The bedrooms offered privacy and a place to find some me time for an extended family. We loved Wisteria winery and Ciro pizza. We are from NJ and found the people incredibly friendly and accommodating. We all loved our stay in Stanley"

"Our stay was absolutely wonderful. First I want to say when we got there the GPS would have taken us directly there but there was an accident and no detour signs. I called Randy and he stayed on the phone with me until we got to the cabin giving me step by step directions. Wonderful host. The cabin was beautiful, very clean and fully stocked. The water pressure was amazing. Usually you don't have water pressure or hot water and both were awesome. Our stay was one of the best ever. A WONDERFUL romantic getaway for any couple looking to enjoy a peaceful time with their loved one. We look forward to coming back again."

"My wife, dog, and I had an enjoyable stay here for a week in the spring. Winery and farm grounds are cute and offer lots of places to relax and explore. Winery owners/staff were super nice, and property management was responsive to messages. Location is great, not far from Shenandoah Natl Park, Luray, etc, and there is even a grocery store 5 mins away. Property isn't a "secluded/private in the woods" feel as its located on the winery grounds and being a partitioned addition to the winery owners house, but for us it was nice to have the wine tasting room and outdoor areas only steps away. Inside of the rental was pretty nice too, equipped with kitchen essentials, a comfortable bed and sofa, etc. Our only suggestions for improvement would be 1) to update the listing as the living space is definitely well short of the advertised 2500 square feet, and 2) stocking the kitchen with a few more plates/bowls as there was only 4 each. These were only minor issues though, we definitely enjoyed our stay, would return, and do recommend!"
