My advice:
STAY AWAY.
I actually did not stay, but it was because the people running this place clearly do not care (or do not know?) how to deliver basic customer service.
First: I arrived and no one was there. I called and no one answered. I had deliberately chosen the space as well as arranged a short drive day so I could do my work (I am a freelance writer) and this was not helpful for me.
Also, the location was remote (about 15 or so km off the 44, my bad for not checking that closer) and surroundings looked sketchy, so I just got myself back down to the 44 where there were a million motels.
By the time I checked in somewhere else, I received two text messages from Westport Inn - one asking me to please text them my photo ID.
RED FLAG! This is a WARNING to anyone else who is concerned with identity theft. The person texting me never at any time introduced themselves, I did not at all feel safe sending my ID by text, then they said they "don't need to come, we do it all remotely."
Yeah, nope!
So I kindly replied hey, I found somewhere else, I could not wait for staff who were nowhere to be found, I felt uncomfortable being in that location alone with zero staff onsite, and further was in no way about to text someone my ID.
Then they never replied!
Wow! That's literally basic customer service! A simple "sorry it didn't work out" was all I needed but nope.
So in the end, I made about a $100 mistake with these guys since they clearly won't refund me. Woops!
