We stayed over Christmas and the host even had a beautifully decorated Christmas tree to set our mood for the week. It was such a nice surprise to walk into. So many special touches. The bathrooms were stocked with hygiene items such as toothbrushes, hand cream disposable razors and even a fully stocked first aid kit which we actually needed. "The property was modern, clean, comfortable and beautiful. We really enjoyed the back patio and surprisingly there were little to no bugs outside. We consisted of two couples and two sisters. We were not able to watch TV bc we had to link it to a Roku or YouTube TV account. It worked out fine because we were there to spend time with our family who was in a nearby house. I would recommend this rental and especially to a family."

"Our stay at this property was wonderful. We were able to plan based off the detailed pictures in the listing, and everything was accurate to those pictures and then some! We were a large group of adults, but we had plenty of space, towels, blankets, cooking items & appliances, fridge space, and activities to fill our time. Our group especially loved the pool and fishing lake. Would definitely recommend!"

"The home is in a great location among the hills and lakes, but still close enough to shopping if you need to venture in. Beautifully decorated with Christmas cheer our children & grandchildren had lots of space to relax and enjoy each others company. Thank you for providing such an inviting atmosphere. "

"A group of ladies took the train from St Louis. The train drops you off right by the hotel. I called the hotel several times and everyone was very friendly and helpful. They put robes in our room and let us check in early etc. the rooms are beautiful and there was a little kitchen area stocked with waters and coffee. The breakfast was wonderful there were plenty of options. The only thing I wished is that we would have brought cash to tip our waitress and cleaning staff."
