"We had such a wonderful stay at Dan and Robin's. The property is close to a beautiful river and in a beautiful setting. The bedroom is cozy and comfortable with more than enough space a bathroom attached. The living area can easily handle a large crowd and has all the comforts of home. Dan and Robin even had a Christmas tree set up in the living with lights and all! The hearth is wonderful, and Dan had the fireplace all set up with kindling, paper and wood. Just had to light it! Perfect...

"This was one property that was well taken care of and properly equipped. We weren’t there much our two nights but it made it very easy to pack. Didn’t need to bring anything but ourselves and our clothing, everything else was included but food. That option was offered though, we just chose not to use it. Everything went very well! I would recommend!!"

"We stayed at the James Buchanan Hotel during a trip to whitetail for skiing and the hotel was my favorite part of the experience. It was cozy, clean, and they even upgraded our room. It was so much fun to go to the pub in the hotel. The manager of the pub was so attentive and polite and everyone made sure we had a great stay. I can’t say enough nice good things about this place and I hope we will go back someday soon!"

"The term "hotel" is a little misleading as it is more like an inn where there is no hotel staff onsite. An innkeeper greeted us to check us in and give us a tour of the property. The room was very clean and comfortable. We also visited the onsite restaurant, which was lovely. The food was excellent! Unfortunately, there were no real options for breakfast in town and no shopping or entertainment. If you stay here, be prepared for a quiet night in."

"We hosted a reunion for our extended family this past weekend. The first floor was open enough that we could all be connected. The football fans took over one room, the basketball fans had the other, and the rest of us gathered to laugh and chat around the table. We even sang songs around the fire one night. The location was close to everything we wanted to visit. Definitely enjoyed our stay. "

"We spent our Thanksgiving weekend in this little cabin sleeping in, reading books, and watching Christmas movies. It was glorious! The close proximity to a grocery store (food lion) was excellent too! 10/10 would recommend. "

I planned a white Christmas!

"A wonderful resort! An opportunity to stay in a lodge like atmosphere for the holidays. The food at the Bavarian Lounge was excellent! We were surprised that all our choices were delicious- from the tempura Brussels sprouts to the burger, from the wings to the open face roast beef sandwich, the fries, chips, and decadent chocolate cake!! We enjoyed various amenities including the hot tub and game room. The view from our balcony was gorgeous! I especially enjoyed walking the resort and taking in the beauty of the sunrise, slopes, fireplaces, Christmas decorations and landscape. I felt like I was in my own Hallmark Christmas movie! As a holiday getaway from North Carolina, the Slopeside Inn at Seven Springs allowed us to experience a white Christmas!! And we had so much fun snow tubing! The breakfast buffet was ok for $25/person. I wish there had been more breakfast options because we didn't really want such a big breakfast. A coffee shop or cafe would've been a good option."
