"Had a great stay. Did not realize the haunted history of the Alex Johnson before booking. To my surprise, the place was on Ghost Hunters. I watched the episode while staying in the hotel. Hotel is all pet friendly, which is what I needed, and it was great! 2 bars/restaurants, including a rooftop lounge, both with dog friendly options. Parking is a challenge. They do have a valet, but since I had just got into town I wasn't sure if I would need my vehicle again, so I found parking on the street. Will definitely stay here again though!"

"Check-in was a breeze, and the staff was helpful and accommodating of our needs. The room was clean and the bedding fresh, the bathroom and towels were bright and white, and the room was spacious for two. The location was convenient to the airport and to Mount Rushmore, and had good hiking nearby. All-in-all, an excellent stay! Good job, Rockerville Lodge and Cabins! "
