"This is an older hotel, but that said it suited my needs as a solo female traveler, stopping to sleep. It’s was very quiet and felt very safe. Hot shower with good water pressure and the bed was comfortable, too. I would stay here again with my family or alone if needing an affordable place to stop for the night. I left before breakfast, but they did have a fresh pot of coffee with your basic 1/2 and 1/2 creamer, sugars etc (thankfully not powered creamer:))"

"My family got together to celebrate a 70th, 50th, and 23rd birthday. We had 10 adults and 2 little ones. The sprawling layout is nice with mostly first floor bedrooms for people who don’t do stairs well. The bedroom and bathroom layouts are pretty strange. All the bathrooms with a shower are connnected and the main one is intended to be a public pool shower, so if it’s not all family or close friends it could feel awkward. We made it work. We had a blast in the pool and hot tub and enjoyed morning saunas. We had a fun party and game night in the dining room and had plenty of space in the kitchen for our buffets. The overall amenities are great. My biggest suggestion is to add hooks all over the house. There was no closet bars or hangers to hang anything up like jackets and purses and especially wet swim suits and pool towels. We found everything we needed in the kitchen for the most part including a keurig, a regular coffee maker, multiple crock pots, and serving bowls and platters. We were happy to have brought a brita pitcher for filling water bottles and making coffee. The appliances are nice and the extra fridge was great for drinks. It’s a great gathering house and we plan to come back again! "

"I'd contacted the owner a few days before my trip, and he sent me a picture of the address signs to help me find the property. When i was heading to the cabin, the address took me to a mine. I looked at the address signs again, and changed it to look for the township listed on the sign, it took me directly there (keep that in mind if you book, it helps the trip start out much easier) When I arrived, the generator wouldn't run on propane, just gas, so I sent a text to Scott who's number is listed on the fridge. As the local maintenance man for the property, he is awesome and very helpful! He came out with the parts to fix it, and ended up replacing the supply line for the propane. He also brought out extra firewood since a bad storm was coming in, knowing I'd most likely stay in the cabin. He also came out to plow the road Sunday evening to make sure I could get out Monday when I was leaving. *note, this is about a mile back a 2 track, so after a foot of fresh snow that followed freezing rain, it was quite a bit of work*Overall, it's a beautiful cabin, and Scott the maintenance man as the local representative of the rental is a great "face of the property" I'll definitely stay again."
