Pros:
- Communication with host. Very prompt, professional, helpful
- Cleanliness.
- Amenities. Fully stocked kitchen & bathroom & convenient laundry
- Decor. Cohesive aesthetic & design
- Hospitality. The sign-in book, house binder, & cards were all a nice touch
- Temperature. Thermostat worked well 3/4 days & there are overhead fans
- Scenic drive to Kiawah Island
- Close proximity to Angel Oak Tree
Cons:
- Sleeping. Smaller bed's mattress sags in middle horribly and frame creaks with smallest of movements. Chose to sleep on futon instead. Neighbor's rooster crowed every hour from 4-8am first 2 nights
- Couch. Cute, but uncomfortable. Went to bed early instead of watching TV
- Dining chairs. Covered in faux velvet, so we covered them with trash bags
- Window shades. Bring tape for the sides
Vacation Recommendations:
- Simply Seafood; fresh, inexpensive, family-owned, close-by
- Magnolia Plantation isn’t worth it in the winter months
- Fort Sumter tour; the flag raising happens at 12 at the fort
- Kiawah Beach; can see dolphins feeding!
- Rita’s restaurant at Folly Beach
- Rainbow Row, Provost Dungeon, waterfront parks
