Very Good

I can’t believe that this was the best place in town. Someone bumped up the ratings, don’t be duped. Bathroom was terrible, I turned on the shower and brown water came out. There was a nail in the floor. Two old recliners that were dirty and looked as if they found them on the street. Towels were even old and worn. If you can continue driving, do it!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
There were not many options for motels in the town of John Day, OR. This motel met our needs for a place to sleep on a long trip. The room was very dated but met our needs.
We made a great choice with Dreamers Lodge. It is comfortable, clean, and affordable. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The location is within walking distance of restaurants.
Our family was passing through on a road trip. We found it both quiet and comfortable.

Outdated/broken
The place is dated for sure. Old beat up stained chairs to sit in. Mattress was old for sure. LOL :) Small window AC is noisy! LOL…
The exhaust fan in the bathroom was broken, which is important to most people. Pretty pathetic overall…
We won’t be staying here again in the future.
It was close to where we were going to be. It was very clean, safe and friendly. I would highly recommend and would stay there again. It deserves a 5 plus rating. Thank you very much Dreamers Lodge

Very outdated. Bedding was not good at all. Kind of expensive. Look elsewhere
Just passing through on Hwy 26 and not many options that still had vacancies. This is an older motel type place but the owner was very friendly and accommodating for our late night arrival.
First time here and we loved it. Very clean and well maintained and the people were very friendly and helpful. I reserved our room and they gave me a great spot. Will return if ever in the area again for sure.
Been in much worse & quieter than the last Super 8
It's an older hotel to be sure. No breakfast or frills at all, but we were highly impressed they cleaned in in between our two days stay! They provided more clean towels and nothing lacking! They could use some newer pillows.
