"The home, the surroundings, the on-site caretaker, the location, and the amenities were fabulous. We had a ride from the airport late at night, and then on to our next stop upon our departure. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast and lunches prepared daily by Ely were delicious, and we took advantage of the beach and the pool. We could have spent more time looking around in Saly, and we did go to the artisan markets and one restaurant. Honestly though, we were so content in this space that we enjoyed a true getaway. The property owner speaks only French so that some of the complexities of our trip were challenging to communicate in English, but we got through it and had an absolutely delightful vacation. And I can't say enough good things about Ely. Her contacts with the fishmonger, vegetable sales, cheese guy, and even a tailor who made clothing in 3 days with the fabrics we bought at the market. Ely is amazing. We will certainly return. "

"My experience both when it comes to booking and service have been really subpar with the rooms being even more underwhelming. Colleagues went in to find dirty towels and dirty linen. The room had bugs all over especially ants and mosquitoes. After a very difficult first night, we requested a cancellation of the booking through the booking agency and the hotel rejected. After the second night, it proved impossible to stay there and the team checked out. The hotel still refused to issue a partial refund. We ended up booking a new hotel a few minutes down the road. On top of it all, trying to communicate with the reception was just a problem. Genuinely if you are desperate for a single night, maybe. But just know there’s no where to get food close to the place. For long stays, just get a Hotel close by."

"It was very relaxing place to be right above the beach with beach access. However the beach has a lot of debris from as that area is mostly used by fishermen. I stayed 8 nights with my 2 kids. Our room was spacious with a bounce bed and 2 twin beds. The beds we comfortable. The only complaint I would have is that when the weather is hot, it is hotter in the room because it is up stairs and there is no AC. Only half of our stay was hot enough to complain about. The staff was very friendly and kind. The owner was so gracious and will arrange anything you want from transportation to food delivery from outside. If you want a place to relax and do nothing but listen to the ocean waves while you sip a cold drink and your kids play in the pool, this is the place! I would definitely come back over and over again! "
