"When i got to the border, the border control staff called the hotel to confirm I was staying there. They could not get through to the hotel at first. Once they did get through they told us the hotel was closed for refurbishment and that we had to book another hotel! Which we did via hotels.com. Now we are in a battle to get a refund as the hotel /and hotels.com are calling it a cancellation. 0/5 stars. "

"It is good hotel, but the name with (Tianfu area zone ) is misleading. It gives you wrong impression, very close to airport. It is actually 40 minutes drive, once every hour. Not easy to find shuttle station ( need to know the license number of bus by phone) for traveller without chinese phone. Wifi in airport is not available for traveller without chinese phone number to get confirmation code. ESIM does not work for phone or wifi there. "

"My stay was amazing, the staff is exceptional, polite and very accommodating. The manager went beyond my expectations and was also there to help me with daily excursions, translations and even helped me purchase a speaker last minute and have it shipped to the hotel in time for my daughters water polo game. 100% satisfied and would highly recommend this hotel. "I like the cleanliness of the hotel. A couple of staff do speak English. However other service staff like house keeping who brought a replacement TV remote, which did not work and the repair person came and supposely fixed it but it was still broken, could not use to change the tv channels and volume, etc. Food was not fresh and the hot food was mostly spicy for me as I cannot handle peppery spicy. I ate mostly fruits, long donut and drank soy milk. One morning I ate a rotten apple; it was rotten and moldy from inside out and I did not realized until I took a 3rd bite. The only reason I stayed here was to visit a nearby factory I am doing business with. Otherwise, I would not stay here again; nothing interesting for a tourist to visit on foot around this area. Unfortunately, I had to extend my stay for 3 more nights on this trip, for a total of 7 nights!"

"The property is pretty new. No onsite gym. Has a good sized lounge on the first floor right next to the dining area. Daily complementary breakfast: a mixture of non-authentic western style and authentic Chinese style:) Quality is good! Onsite self-service washer and dryer. Unfortunately, I stayed in two rooms; in both of their bathrooms, there was a strong sewage smell. In China, there are sinks on the floor in the bathroom; I thought the sewage smell came out of those sinks because the water in the sinks' p-trap might be dry/low. But, after I poured water in them and took showers , the smell still existed. Not sure why:( One last thing, the hotel has free wi-fi (speed is fast); but the connection is behind the great firewall of China, which means you won't have access to many web sites outside China. Fortunately, I had Google Fi service with global roaming. I had no difficulty using Google Fi service in China and, fortunately, google Fi connection roaming in China is outside its firewall. So, I used my cell phone as the wi-fi hot spot during my stay at the hotel. Not sure about the staff's English capability cause I speak Mandarin; but I doubt it'll be good. It's an economic hotel under Holiday Inn Franchise. Also, every room is equipped with central A/C. But it was not powered during my stay (from 3/31/24-4/13/24) even the temperature rose passing 80 degrees. Regardless of the actual temperature, the hotel won't turn on central A/C until June."

"They had enough English to help me, they even arranged a cab for me when I needed to leave. Very clean and comfortable. It was worth it to me to go out of the way to get there (it is not close to major transit hubs)."
